the speakers are perfect and the amplifier that is being used was one of the best when released it as that singular hiogh-quality sound that philips used to provide in late 70´s or much earlier
they could be a litle more far from the wall but most of the videos here on youtube with much more expensive hi-fi gear is even less well installed , to be true i have to say that it´s one of the best located speakers in most of the video´s showed here ,it´s not the perfect place but we aren´t there to see the if it could be located in a perfect positioning, but all in all it´s good
@RUfromthe40s yeah, youtube is full of imperfect. And a lot of people also live in the space where they listen to music, so compromise... but if assure you that if you move these speakers a meter In the room and 2.5 to 3 m apart (mpl also 2.5 to 3) you will be amazed by the difference. If have mine on felt pads and slide them into the room when I have a longer session.
@@jeroenvanwesemael8556 i have this also they do sound better when apart but here maybe the location is just for the video, when younger i had big boxy speakers and were very good but had them at each corner of the room like 60cm apart from the wall the bass was intense but so did other frequencies, the hpm-150 with a spec-1 and 2, 76 catalog from Pioneer ,niow i´m conecting the CDM7 to a late 80´s pioneer integrated amplifier the A-91D and it sounds very good, the main advantage of using the Pioneers is the several number of inputs makin`possible to have conected whatever we want and it´s a well built amplifier, huge capaciteurs and power transformers ,it´s dificult to move it alone
wharfedale, tannoy, B&W and mission, 4 i couldn´t left out one good brand of speakers ,allthough i have more like infinity are perfect too, but all have them just have to check the specifications
@@hifi_art_studio sadly. Primare is better than denons? Maybe you can say something about primare comparing to the Denon poa? Do you know primare spa21,can you say something about it?

Did you ever try moving these speakers into the room? Can't imagine imaging, bass and soundstage is any were naar optimal in that position?

what would you say are your top 3 floor standing speakers to buy?

Hi, my Denons now have a new owner who is very happy with them. Already their place was taken by Are К-5 XE modified to MP and Primare A30.2. :)
