IT'S TIME! Fortnum & Mason have officially opened their legendary Christmas shop for 2024. Come along with me to my favourite store and explore the whole department. We're greeted by a huge fruit laden tree proving that F&M are grocers by trade & grocers by baubles!
Plus stay still the end to see a look back at Fortnum's Christmas past accompanied by my own little review.

My fav London department store with Liberty sitting at its shoulder ... thank you Queenie! 🎁 I like the nativity fold out with the angels all clustered around the top. We have seen some of the scenes in this posting twice ... most odd ...

The sparkly fruit gave me inspiration for a Hobbit themed tree🌲❤ I also thought the Christmas display was a bit conservative this year. I just adored the carriages and pink sleigh of last year.
Can't wait to watch this one, got an f and m hamper basket at a car boot few weeks ago, always wanted one being a londoner ❤
Still loved the video Miss Q, despite what seemed to be a bit of sterility in the department. I can understand your disappointment. Having said that, we loved quite a few things, especially those mechanical models. We noticed your peacocky comment. The partridge in a pear tree bauble was quite eye catching. Believe it or not, we have one of those cats that make an appearance at 35 minutes 46 seconds. He came to live with us a couple of years ago, and he's called Simbar. He refused to be put away in a box the first Christmas that we had him, and now, he's a permanent fixture on the wall. A pity that F&M don't produce a Christmas card with the store on, the way that Liberty do. xxx

Love that ! Nothing wrong with made in China just so glad to see the IngeGlass and Old World Christmas - the card Santa face on the indent is so traditional and classic - also those Amy Swann flats are gorgeous - very new - I have to say I think F&M is out doing everyone else with the prime decorations. A lower price point on some bits but a lot more high end. I want all of the Nostalgie ones!! I’m going tomorrow !

Have to see it in person- to be honest I was very underwhelmed by Selfridges and Harrods. Liberty was excellent, better than they’ve been . I hear your critique though for me it’s the variety and the manufacturers I’m looking for so let’s see if it’s so terrible 🥳 fingers crossed

Fortnum's is a wonderful store. I wish I could go there. Sadly, the absence of nativity scenes was very noticeable. It's like that here in Australia, too, unfortunately. I enjoy your shop tours, Queenie.
Another great Xmas video Queenie. But I have to agree with you it was lacking something. It definitely needed more Xmas Trees decorated, Selfridges is the winner so far, followed by Liberty which I also loved.
I think you were underwhelmed because Selfridges was so OTT and it was obviously wasn’t as good as last years. Thanks Queenie for taking us around it.
There’s no way they’ve finished yet. I always buy things on line and usually a new bauble every year. I’ve been on line and really want to purchase the gold musical instruments but they don’t seem to appear on line. Does anyone know if you can get them on line? Xxxx🎉

Love your Christmas videos. I think it's too early for F+M...I'm surprised they've started Christmas so early...this feels American/tacky...it's too early for us Brits x
