Just learned of Ariel's father's death. Really loved their family's show and felt like I knew them. He was a great pilot with loads of experience. Condolences to Jim Tweto's family.
Its difficult not to get caught up in the shear joy Ariel has for life and living. Cuteness overload, she's a pleasure to watch.
RIP Jim Tweto. You raised a great family. I just love Ariel.

@@Janom66 You know it’s funny but Jim’s wife really seemed to be the dominant personality in that family. She’s hilarious. Looks tiny but is the real powerhouse in that company.I think they’ll be Ok.

That seems to be the lower 48 states mentality, the first thing they ask is what's your "love life", and then they will question your sexual orientation. As if there were no other things in life that are any more important, really.

Alaska and Hawaii. Why might they think differently? They seem to be further away from American mainstream culture. Not sure about Hawaii, but Alaska's harsher climate condition makes people think more about survival and human values instead of thinking with their stomach's and sexual organs.
Ah okay so you mean basically the "mainland" states are the 48 states(I can't think of a better way to describe them). Hawaii is definitely not upper! But yes I could see that, seeing as how they are definitely more far away from the rest of the U.S. I've also heard that a lot of introverted, adventurous people live in Alaska. This would make sense on why they don't care much about relationships!!

Well, you have better point than I do here. Indeed, the Alaskan people might love nature more than themselves. Nonetheless, the teenage suicide rate in Alaska is I think 10 times higher than in the lower 48. So, each region has it's advantages, but disadvantages as well. For instance, I think alcohol is illegal in some parts of Alaska. The good part of it is that people might be thinking more straight there, on the other hand, it causes trafficking and illegal trade. Again, advantages and disadvantages. Even Miss America can't resolve these problems.
The thing is, she does feel like one of the guys, or a sister that hangs around.
Someday she will meet the right guy, and he'll be the luckiest man on the planet. Ariel is a peach.
