If the defense stays stacked but the offense stays lacking… is not necessarily the portal. Look at the coaches on each side of the ball. Also look where all Dabo’s friends kids play.
The key to the winning culture that was established was depth at every positing. They even chanted "we too deep". They rotated, and flipped guys around, gave players in game rest if needed, and never really felt the pressure of if a guy needs to come out because of injury that it'll be a problem. It's not there anymore. Hopefully things will shape out this season and clemson staff members don't have to learn the hard way (ie 8 win season) to make that change. Just feels like Dabo is putting his head into the sand and hoping NIL/Portal goes away. That’s not a successful strategy. But they have some great pieces and are still crushing recruiting. They could easily fix the ship and win the ACC
In the early 2000s Alabama changed their entire offense with Steve sarkisian to keep up with the changes of college football so Clemson needs to use the transfer portal to keep up with the changes with college football to

Khalil Barnes not mentioned as an impact player on defense is wild. Especially given what he did last season.

I’m a big Clemson fan and are big problem is are offensive line it doesn’t let Cade clubnick have time to make good throws

@@TheDevyRoyalethe depth is there just maybe not all top end 4 and 5 star talent but the high 3 and solid 4 star guys are on the roster.
