- THIS Is Why I Left Nagaland! 🇮🇳 (I Was Not Welcomed)
Yo guys, after two days in Khonoma and Kohima I've decided to leave Nagaland and head to Shillong, Meghalaya. In order to get to Shillong, I had to leave the Kohonoma Village at 6pm early in the morning by bus. Once arrived in Kohima, I had to jump on another bus in order to get to Dimapur, the capital of Nagaland. I had a couple hours in Dimapur and decided to have lunch and explore the city a little bit. Some hours later, I took the train to Guwahati, Meghalaya from where I took ride to Shillong. So, basicallyin one day I travelled through three Indian states. Enjoy!

I plan to visit Nagaland for the first time. I want to explore the culture, tradition, culinary, interact with Nagas. Within a few minutes on Google gives me an itinerary: visit WWII cemetery, Dzukou valley, Kisama heritage, visit villages like Khonoma, Longwa, Touphema, Kigwema and Diezephe, mountain bike at Dzuleke, camping in Satoi, rafting in Doyang/Diku, rock climbing in Patkai. NO, I am not going to Nagaland with the sole intention of showing dog meat.

Bro I get you may not have like the place. But I still say to extend and explore the place a tad bit more. I mean there are so much blogs on these places that you could read about. Ofcourse I do not know what happened off camera but explore more. As an Indian myself these places are quite uncharted for us. You could become big here if you explore these places thoroughly is my advice.

Next time you must visit LONGWA in MON District where the interesting India Burma International Border is. We have no beggars. Many people come from mainland India and Bangladesh. They are the beggars and squatters. Nagas work hard for livlihood. Wish you a pleasant stay.
