This guy seems lost too me. He is removing his bench then stretching out to cut his face. His load out area is a mess so the trucks are not getting back far enough and the list goes on. All signs of a guy under pressure trying to make loads with what ever he can get his bucket into. If got in that machine at this point I'd stop the trucks for 5-10 min and straighten myself up get my bench a bit higher so I could get some power into the face and then start loading out. At the end of this video this guy had boxed himself out of the game with no were to go. He could operate good enough just had no vision for what he was doing.

Greetings from Ohio, USA ... I have to agree with the earlier post, that this would be a great job for a ripper.
I'm sure they didn't want the expense of 2 machines .... There are situations tho where one machine isn't
enough. The wear and stress on every part of this machine is unreal .... From the bucket, teeth, pins
and bushings, rings, bearings, hydraulics, track & rollers .... Obviously rough material to deal with, but
again, too much for a conventional machine.
I love these videos, but hate to see them put thru this. I'm NOT critical of this operator .... He's given a job
to do, and he's doing it .... it's just hard in the machine! P.S. Thank you MMC for another one.
I was having the same thoughts watching this. Brutally hard on the machine.
The last week I have been doing similar work with my (much smaller) machine just with loose rock and that was hard enough on it.

Not a very efficient operator or mine. Could significantly lower costs across the board by blasting. Lower costs on: fuel, machine repair and maintenance, truck wait time... but seeing how much they've mined already, and the shape of the trucks and equipment, their not too worried about that. "Run it till it doesn't, then get one that the 3rd owner is selling." Must be their moto...

For Americans who don't understand..This is Southern Eastern Europe near the Med..they often rely on machines and trucks handed down from West/Northern Europe - this is how it works in countries like Greece, Albania, and the rest of the East. This is usually where these machines come to finish off their useful lives.
Thats a waste of time using those tiny over the road trucks for this.

MY DOGS ALL AKITAS YEARS AGO AND MAINLY REALLY MY FIRST ONE IN 87 WENT WERE EVER I DID INCLUDING ON AND IN AND AROUND EVERY SINGLE CONCEIVABLE PIECE OF EXCAVATION EQUIPMENT NO MATTER HOW LONG THE DAY BESIDES FOR SKID STEER LOADERS TO TIGHT FOR HER TO FIT. KATINA THE AKITA AT 120 LBS WAS NO LAP DOG.BUT IF YOU LET HER SHE WOULD HAVE TRIED TO FIT ON YOUR LAP TO CATCH A RIDE OUT OF THE WOODS AND UP THE TRAILOR AH,THE OLD DAYS.I OWN ONE TODAY 100 LBS THAT IS RUNNING FROM THE SNOWBLOWER ? GO FIGURE ? I GUESS ME BLASTING THE SHIT OUT OF HER WITH SNOWBLOWER AT THIRTY FEET PROBABLY DID NOT HELP. THE OTHER 3 LOVED ANYTHING THAT MADE NOISE BLEW SNOW OR SMACKED THERE ASSES WITH A LOVE TAP FROM SOME KIND OF BUCKET FOR NOT PAYING ATTENTION. SORRY, THIS EXCAVATION THING GOT CRAZY LOST ON REALLY YOUNG HEALTHY GOOD TIMES. MADE A A LOT OF MONEY DOING WHAT I LOVED, EXCAVATING AND I WAS REAL GOOD AT IT. GOD I MISS IT PERIOD.
You sure as hell better not load the truck bed up front,,, when you raise it the lower dirt will slide off and the other dirt will break the bed in half
