We really enjoyed learning Perseverance Episode 3 and playing on the channel, the changes made in Episode 3 really compliment the series and we're excited to see where this goes in the next episode (JP). #ironjawsforlife

Instant backing this today. I just hope they use a different logistic partner in the US ( still waiting on Septima ). Love the way the story is opening up and looking forward to EP 4 with Fight/Flight. Thanks Paul for the marvelous job you do with their games.
I'm hoping this does well! Perseverance 1 & 2 was a bit of a slow burn as it really takes a few plays for things to truly open up for both games that are brilliant, and it makes me wish our hobby was a bit more accepting of games like that instead of the instant gratification everyone demands. The entire assembly mechanic that the series seems to be built around is such a nice twist to round based scoring breaks and it appears that Episode 3 evolves that yet again. I'm a day one backer and I can't wait!
Love the theme, the assembly seems a bit odd thematically (I haven't played the first 2 chapters, I guess they were continuing with the ideas from those) but the price point for getting this as a stand alone is quite steep.
Watching now. I'm really curious how many of the games are that different that you need all of them. EP 1 and EP 2 are essentially the same game with the same mechanic of dice placement. EP 2 being a more robust version of ep1. Based on what I have watched so far 3 is just an evolved game of ep2.
Yes it does tell a continuous story. You CAN play it like a campaign if you want. I can't remember all the details but there are some perks you gain between games
There is a mode called the Chronicle Mode which we've played in Eps 1 & 2 which strings games together with you getting Glory as the overall VP to determine the ultimate winner. It does switch up the game a bit with you getting Chronicle cards that provide you with abilities and powers that can help you in the game but carry over to other games. I'm keen to see how they develop upon that by this campaign. (JP)

How are the goal cards handed out in setup, the manual skips that step entirely and only mentions them at the end of the game
We were playing with the rules given to us at the time. We just got one given to us at random. This may change in the final version.
the assembly scoring tableau on this looks different than the one in tabletop simulator. I assume some stuff for 2 players got changed?

Did the completed adventures not give anything at the end of the game?
not by default. Down to officer scoring.
2 of the adventures have the tablets as rewards and these have cumulative vps at the end, as well as what Paul said ofc😊
Looks very cool - but just 8 turns 😮 Don't feel like it's a few turns and not exhaustive enough?
