In "I Only Love You" he was very young though. As far as I know, he recorded it to submit it for a contest when he was a teenager.

Yes, Gakku for D8, "Love is Like a Dream" for C2(?). Also "Sinful Passion" (Sochi performance) comes with utterly low and high notes. But I'm never after these extremes, what matters to me is that Dimash's singing is heavenly, supremely beautiful. He touches the soul. I'm a great opera lover, and enjoy opera, but I've never felt that the singer, whoever he or she is, touches my soul. Only Dimash can do that.

I thought lowest note was at Love of Tired Swan D2 (questionable thou) but E2 is very clear to hear (both no vocal fry)
@@pepemarrone8482 And F#1 Growl in recently diva dance. By the way, for me his more accurate low hit was G2 in Ulisses.
He actually has lower ones using growl (register?) at the beginning of his Masked Singer performance.
And also one in the duet he made in drunken concubine.

I agree 100% ... Dimash enchants me by the clear, soft and strong voice whenever he wants, beautiful and still sings like a trio ... in bass, medium and high notes like a soprano, uses amazing techniques .... is the best voice I've ever heard..BRAZIL
Dimash is just incredible XD I'm kind of fascinated by him. There are so many amazing singers in the world but I know no one who could do those things he can do with his voice. Different singers can do different parts of it, but not the whole spectrum.
His skill, technique, precision, range, variety of styles and vocal colors, and overall versatility are unbelievable.
Yes. So very true. Some commentators say that there must be three different singers doing what Dimash does. Some say six, one says even nine. But we know, there is just one person, our beloved Prince, Dimash.

What a PERFECT comment, for the music of Dimash! I think you will find that many, many Dears appreciate your fine response to what must be acknowledged as perfection. And from the advantage of reading it almost a year afer it was written, I can tell you that he has even managed to improve on perfection.
The smiling older man in the audience is his proud father, who is a traditional Kazakh opera singer.
I am fairly new to Dimash so I love learning from vocal coaches and other professionals what he does that makes him so awesome. This is one of my favourites because he is playing with the audience. He knows he is going to blow Vitas out of the water, so he is being so cute and cheeky. He went up higher twice than Vitas so I have read. Vitas was so upset he threatened to sue Dimash if he ever sung it again. He sang a Celine Dion song and she congratulated him and openly said he did it better than her. Lionel Ritchie congratulated him for Hello, and Brian May said Freddy would have been proud of him. Shows Vitas personality that he banned him from the song because he knew Dimash was way better. Some vitas fans still say vitas did it better but being totally unbiased and honest and not just loyal to Dimash, there is absolutely no comparison.
The difference is he is a male. He not only can sing male lows....he can also sing female very, very high soprano.....he not only can sing very, very high.....he can even sustained it.
Excellent...it's a matter of taste. For me, Vitas' voice just doesn't have the same roundness and sweetest that Di's voice has. He is a marvelous singer and entertainer, though.

Great reaction Freya - The last time I heard something like Dimash was when I was a youngster and I went to watch the Vienna Boys Choir ! But that was a choir ! Dimash has a choir in one body !! Amazing. Dimash is without a doubt a born story teller, and his medium is music. , he casts his spell around his listeners that pulls us into his world from the first note to the last. And it's not just the music and lyrics; he does it with everything he’s got - from his facial expression, his eyes, his hands that seemingly plucks the notes from the air, to his stance, I've always said Dimash doesn’t just sing a song. He becomes the song heart and soul. ( if GOD had a voice I'm sure it would sound like this !! ) STUNNING !! Simply stunning ! You have to react to his latest performance - Love is like a Dream. That is just out of this world good !! Thank you from New Zealand.
I suggest you watch and especially hear Unforgettable Day at the Gakku concert to be more exact. Dimash composed this piece and pay close attention, because there is a moment where you will not believe what you just heard.
Dimash's 3 modulations at the end of the song are C#6-D6-Eb6. His range is from C2-D8 (sustained). He was totally chest and head voice here...no whistle yet. Welcome to the world of Dimash.

Opera 2 es una obra de Vitas. Es el escritor, cantante, bailarín y diseñador ruso. El estilo es difertente, y vale la pena verlo. A mí me encantan las dos versiones.

And Vitas has threatened Dimash with legal action if he sings "Opera 2" again. That's why we don't see Dimash performing it again, the way he does perform all of his other songs.

PLEASE react to Unforgettable day Gakku concert where he does the highest note from anybody. Close to the end he goes to his knees and starts with high notes. He builds up to a whistle D8 with vibrato for a full 5 seconds. Many can't believe what they hear and back up to listen and watch again until they conclude that he actually does it. Or you can see it in the video Dimash Extreme vocal for male voice at 7:45 on where it shows onscreen that it is D8

...but he actually doesn't have a natural high voice, he just has a huge vocal range (more than 6 octaves).

@@Jeki_toki That just means that his "normal" voice is not high. His speaking voice is lower than the male average, and so is his "normal" singing voice. He can go up really high, but that doesn't mean that his "natural" or "normal" voice is high-pitched.
@@Roman-yt8up He has a high tessitura, he is comfortable both in the head voice and in the chest. Do not confuse the voice position. By your logic, everyone in the head voice is not normal (not natural), even girls. Almost all people speak in the chest voice, with very few exceptions. For example, a car has several gears, and if it drives slowly in first gear, this does not mean that you cannot turn on the overdrive and drive faster and it will be “natural” for a higher gear. In the speech position, the vocal cords work differently than when singing, and Dimash has much better dynamics and is more relaxed in the head voice than many female singers. His flexible head voice is much more controlled than the chest voice.

I suggest Late Autumn with english subs on cause is simply beautiful ballad. Also, in my opinion, his version of Show Must Go On is one of his most underrated performance and it's my favourite of all others version (even celine dion) Thanks

But i have to tell you he is the master of every single notes and this performance was almost like a show watch his latest performance "love is like a dream" to hear his low notes and feel the amount of emotions he put into an imotional song

I love watching your reactions of Dimash as it feels honest and based on knowledge. Please continue reacting to him. One question. As a vocal coach. Do you find things that he do that you feel he could improve or is his skill level up so high already after all his years of training, that he is already mastering everything in the best way possible? Would be interesting to hear.
Dimash has 20 years of training. He graduated with a master's degree from the University of Arts. He plans to go all the way to doctorate. He was invited to join the Kazakhstan National Opera team. Dimash however turned down the offer because he wants to create something new, a new music genre. He has a wonderful support by his family. In this very video we could see his father (actually twice) in the darkness of the audience.
