Excellent submission to the festival, thanks for contributing! I like how we go from the locomotive startup to the train being assembled, unique take and very immersive. I'm gobsmacked at the fleet of big steam in the background and the spooky houses on the hill - my girlfriend would like to see haunted houses on my layout too.
I had fun putting this together! Thank you for the challenge/festival! I have managed to collect a lot of large steamers over the many years! The haunted house is a Lionel operating accessory. I still need to finished my Halloween section on that mountain ledge, but hope to have some vids of it in the coming weeks!
Love the flat cars. 2 questions: Is the F3 unit a dummy and do you use a GoPro camera for your on board shots or your phone. Thanks for such fantastic videos.
Yep, very true! Some of the fiberglass wicks these use are very thin and can burn easily. They switched to a thicker wick a while back, but are no longer selling that. That one worked fantastic! I’ve been experimenting with a similar material when rebuilding the smoke units and so far it’s working very well.

Is that Elanore on the flatcar?
It sure is! 😎 Nick Cage won’t get it, up there! 😉
@@naxshack That car would have been bent up bad like Nicks back after that jump. It is an iconic car.
Definitely! That bridge scene was awesome! Great movie all around. I have to say that I enjoyed it a bit more than the original.
That's quite a smoker.
Definitely! MTH smoke units rock!
@@naxshack Sometimes. I have a few that barely put out smoke.

@@naxshack That Southern Pacific RS-11 I got last year had a defective wick. I had a replacement but still had to pay an MTH tech to replace it.
