Worth the wait brother .. received the notification at work had to wait till I got home lol ... a great way to describe the various versions to use . Ultimately a wiring harness can be as basic as it needs to be or as complicated as you want to make it . Its always been the ultimate fear with many that they cannot fathom the intricacies of a loom . Yet it's the basics of 1 circuit going from power to negative . If its looked at as that it's simply1 wire or 2 doing the task its required to ie headlight ..power from battery or fuse to switch to headlight back to negative or earth jobs a good un ..
Clymer manuals in my opinion are more informative than the Haynes variety where they rely on the person actually knowing what they are doing first ..and seem to miss a few of the important bits out ..
    Great narration as always

      Thank you very much!
You are right! Most components of a motorcycle are actually really simple to wire. For me it always helps to remove as much as possible and then add back in what I actually need.
Agree on the Haynes vs Clymer. I've always found Clymer easier to follow as well.
      Thanks again for hanging around!

Amazing video. It helps a lot to have someone explain and show everything so clearly. Once I understood how the different parts work together wiring became one of my favourite parts of building the BMW. High quality supplies make a huge difference.
I still remember our first call before I started my wiring process. Thanks a lot for making such great content!

Thanks man! I totally agree! I'm one of those weirdos that actually enjoy the wiring. 😅
I remember that call as well, and you've come a long way since then! The wiring jobs you do now is really professional looking!
      Thank you again! ✌️

Wow... this is absolutely useful. I have an ls650 in parts lying around here and i do not have the original harness. With this information there's a chance to get this thing running. Thanks a lot...

I did a simmilar wiring job but i scrapped the turn signals, horn, hazard, odom and just kept the neutral indicator loght.
I think you may want to reconsider having the engine stop/killswitch on there -- im assuming you removed it because you went to keyed ignition? It is handy to have in an emergency.

Turn signals and horn is also great to have in an emergency. 😉
Kidding aside, I think it's a good idea to keep as much of the safety features as possible, they are there for a reason. But you know how it is! 😀
