I had to stand in line for two hours to get the information. My phone does not look like this. It has two card areas side by side. the bigger one on the left is for the SIM card. The one on the right is for a memory card. Lift the silver coloured piece of metal UP gently place the sim card there and press gently and it will click into place.Then lower the silver piece down on it. Now your SIM is installed. I have no idea what a memory card is or what is is for. I sincerely hope this helps.
Have you checked the SIM has been placed correctly. You should see the network name come up on your screen with the signal bar. If that don't work, if your SIM is new, you may need to activate it first or registered before use.

Make sure the SIM card is the correct one. It should be a standard mini SIM, not micro SIM or nano SIM otherwise it won't fit.
