Don't forget you can add a review using the Google My Business link and then use this tip th-cam.com/video/PDdf5RhMAbE/w-d-xo.html to show reviews on your website.
every customer that i have asked to do this the review never shows up. google sure does not make it easy. i have so many customers call me saying they tried but it just wont work. so frustrating. i miss the old days so much, a yellow page ad and good reputation was all you needed.
@@ZanetDesign not anymore because it didnt help. now i just hang out another 10 min on site and do the review for them. thats the only way i can get them to work.
Hi Just wondering if you can help? The link to my google review contains a swear word (c$%^) I've contacted google to see if i can get a new link but don't want to lose the reviews I have either.... any suggestions?? Thanks Helen
Hi Helen That's really frustrating for you, you can flag it and report it on the review if you are logged into your Google Gmail account Alternatively these guys can delete all the reviews if you wish to start again www.rapid-remove.com/en?via=zanet
This is a major issue that Google needs to sort out. My business is missing out on so many reviews because people just dont want to login or create a gmail account just to leave a review.
I followed your steps and when I click the "Sign In" link, I do not get the option to sign-in with a different email account. Has Google recently changed this process?
But how come these reviews don’t show up then? We have had two clients do this in past week and they write a review and click share or post I witnessed it but won’t show up.
Such a PITA. I literally have to beg my customers to leave me a Google review. Having to go through this rigmarole ... no wonder most people don't bother!
It can be a bit of a pain that's true. Though it's important in GMB algorithm, it's only one of many other positive things you can do to rank your business in Google. It can be incredibly rewarding if the demand for a quality service is needed to get new customers. In many industries the reviews are a lifeline for small business owners.
Google doesn't allow you to leave a review any longer until you create a Gmail account. I know they used to but at least as of 24 Sept 2022, Google won't allow non-Gmail addresses to leave reviews.
It doesn't seem to work now. Apparently Google changed some things and on an Android cell, it doesn't have the "use your own email" option. I have an elderly friend who wanted to leave a review for a company's service, and she doesn't have a gmail account, so I wanted to help her by doing this. Now what?
yes it used to work, but Google keeps changing things, I still think it's possible by clicking use other email account, it's just a little hard to find last time I looked
If you select "To manage business" under creating account, it will give you this option! They changed it, so doing it this way should allow them to do the review!
I want to do some fake google reviews on my google business. Please tell me how can i do that . But the problem is that from one mobile phone the google post only one review.i cant do many reviews by changing gmail by same phone . If i want to do 10 reviews by my own .so i need 10 mobile phone but i dont have 10 mobile phone . So sir please make an video how we can do many Google reviews by changing gmail in the same mobile phone
The problem I see is that they want you to give them your phone number. I don't want them to have my phone number. I clicked on "skip" and my review never appeared.
Why when you create a new Gmail account, the google review doesn’t work. Do they see it as a spam account? And if so how old does an account have to be to be able to be counted in a review and not a spam?
I have a business acount with google. The reviews I've had lately have take the piss. Can I remove gmail and the reviews permanatly. Hunger games google shite.
Mate - at the key point you flip from the desktop screen just as its all gets messy (around 5:54). This video could have been made in less than 90 seconds - poor show 😦
UMM ALL you are doing here is creating a GOOGLE account, so No THIS DOESNT solve HOW TO leave a REVIEW WITHOUT a GOOGLE account. You dont need gmail to have a google account, all you did here is leave a review by signing up to a NEW GOOGLE account!
@@ZanetDesign yes I am trying to leave a google review right now, I want it under my real name, not dynocompe a nickname. I have a brand account under my real name, but google doesnt allow that to leave reviews. The only solution I see is to either change dynocompe to my real name, or open up another google account :( unless you have a better solution. I already have two google accounts, dont want three! lol I have this one, then my youtube channel one. I just want to leave reviews under my real name so businesses know its me leaving the feedback! Dont want to plug my youtube channel as much as I probably should lol
@dynocompe yes, that makes sense. I guess if it was me, I would leave my name in the review; then, in that way, it keeps the details in your main account but identifies you as an individual., would that suffice?
@@ZanetDesign i am a troll with this account, so dont want it linked to my real name lol. Might suffice with youtube account, but I am not one to advertise my videos, more of a closet youtuber to my local peeps. My videos are not that good lol. But thanks for the suggestion, that would work for most.

so pleased I could help, loads more tips to enjoy on this channel 😀

Excellent advice, super helpful. Thank you.
thank you, its a slightly old video now, so hopefully you will discover my newer ones which are transforming local businesses
Fantastic video! I'm an ex-Googler, writing a cyber security paper at the moment and I found this fascinating ;)
Glad it was useful
This is a major issue that Google needs to sort out. My business is missing out on so many reviews because people just dont want to login or create a gmail account just to leave a review.
yes i agree, i know of at least 20 genuine reviews on my business and Google refuses to show them, it really isn't the perfect solution currently
I followed your steps and when I click the "Sign In" link, I do not get the option to sign-in with a different email account. Has Google recently changed this process?
yes - a few updates to the interface have happened since this video, i think i did an updated version last year on my channel
Such a great video! Could not find an answer to this until this video!! Super helpful
Glad you liked it!! thanks for commenting as well 😀
Thank goodness, now I can share with clients!
Please do! but remember consistency is just as important as diversity when it comes to reviews
But how come these reviews don’t show up then? We have had two clients do this in past week and they write a review and click share or post I witnessed it but won’t show up.
Google spam filters are often the cause and can be oversensitive

if i want to leave a review with a nickname , is the email i use visible to the company i reviewed? because my email contains my name.

I walked a client through the process and the link "use current email" does not work. We were forced to open an gmail account to leave a review.
I wonder if its only available in certain countries?
If you select "To manage business" under creating account, it will give you this option! They changed it, so doing it this way should allow them to do the review!

What if the target market is for elderly people with no email what do i do then ??? Isnt there a way
wow that's a great question. I imagine Google hasn't considered that demographic. I suppose family members with an email account could leave reviews

We can send the link but not every client wants to download the Google maps app. So in that case how do they give a review???!!!!!
it seems Google has now since making this video made it mandatory to have an account

yes it's really tricky as Google wants to stop spam accounts and ends up making it impossible to authenticate without a number these days
I want to write review negative for my boss with fake account, how?
Would it not be better to talk it out with your boss?
the sign " Instead, use my current email address" never come up. This tutorial is not updated
where about in the video, can you provide a timestamp
