Thank you for teaching how to count the rows. Honestly, thank you so much it is so rare. I spend so much time feeling like an idiot after I learn some new stitches because I haven’t trained my brain yet how to recognise the rows.
You seem like someone who experiments with your crochet! I knew this stitch many years ago, without knowing its name. Playing around, I managed to do it (somehow) so that each side was a different color. I have never seen that anywhere. You might enjoy doing it, and I would love to see a video if you do!
if its too solid for comfort, one can go up several hook sizes to make it plushy and soft and it will still be minimal holes and very warm. I used DK yarn with an 8mm hook and SC thermal stitch came out soft and warm.
Of course 😀 I have just Linked Crochet stitches on both my channel and website already (go to the playlist Crochet Stitches to see them). But I’ll work on a linked crochet thermal stitch tutorial collection 😀
Do you mean the workshops? I think I will publish them soon so anyone can watch them (wouldn’t be live) and learn from them 😀 meaning I would like it to be available at all times (evergreen). Would you like that?
Can you please tell me which of your video explains how to make straight edges with the thermal stitch using markers? I watched a few of your videos, but couldn't find it. Thanks !
I don’t have one specific for the thermal crochet stitch. I recommend using a stitch marker right after making the first stitch of the row. General video: Crochet STRAIGHT EDGES in Rows Every Time - Easy Formula for SC, HDC & DC th-cam.com/video/Emd3T9Ff_DQ/w-d-xo.html
Thank you so much for your quick response! Unfortunately, I think I need to see it. I had already watched the videos you have just suggested... But, it still doesn't work for me. 🤯 Somehow, my stitch count is off on every row. I don't have a "clean square". I don't know if I am missing the first or the very last stitch. I loved your videos by the way ! I just watched the one for adding stitches.... I guess I will be using this technique for every row, to overcome the fact that I don't know where is my first/last stitch 😝
Thank you.. Would you please explain.... How to continue making a bag on a thermal stitch bottom.. Cause I could not determine the stitches to start single crochet for the body of the bag..

I’ve just finished the dc version with this stitch and is wondering what border edging would be best for this blanket? Thanks in advance! Lisa
Depends on the blanket and the look you're going for. Many options. I like the shell border as one of them
