Age is a mofo. It's sad that Bert lost his vocal rasp, that edge. Granted, for how far he's come and how well his backup his handling those parts, I love this show. The band mix is INCREDIBLE. Great energy.
Age is a factor but in this case I think it's because Bert didn't take proper care of his voice + all the smoking. He was haywire screaming up and down on all those warped tours in the 00s and lacked the technique that many vocalists use today to scream without hurting your voice.

I understand what below says about vocals. But it's also Joey isn't Quinn. Quinn played things just a certain way that neither Justin nor Joey was able to replicate. Just sounds off. And Dan still plays Branden's stuff weird.

Why did you guys caliber tv take down the full video of this concert? The Desolation of Eden tour, the full concert. You guys had it on here for years. It was my favorite live performance on TH-cam and have watched/listened to it for years the fact you guys deleted it or whatever has got me lil upset. It was such a great recording of a great performance.
I saw the used twice, once for their 15 year anniversary of the self-titled/in love and death and also the year before that when they released the canyon. They sucked real bad both times. They didn’t have this new guitarist at the time, it was the guy from saosin and he just wasn’t up to par with the original guy. Berts vocals have been weak af for years now, the drummer they’ve had for awhile isn’t anywhere near the original drummer who now plays for Rancid... on top of that their new record is some pop garbage produced by John Feldman who’s been a sellout for the past decade.. it’s just sad when I really think about this band. Their first 3 records were phenomenal and even the records after that had a few golden nuggets here and there. Damn is this what getting old feels like 🤣🤣

I saw a recent video for "listening" and tge bassist doing the screaming was so worth it and I like the guitarist and bassist singing here
