Give this man a medal ! This is a killer truck ! Absolutely awesome. Stable, fast and damn near bullet proof , I bought two and took one on trade...BUT, the radio is a COMPLETE TOILET !! HORIZON really screwed every person that bought this as a rtr...it's more like a "ready to run but good luck with that and don't get hurt or hurt anyone else" At the shop I put the transmitter in a zip loc bag , smashed it to pieces and labeled it Arrma Kraton RTR transmitter piece of crap then I hung them on the wall in bathroom.
When you jump it so smooth, it satisfies me greatly haha

Just ordered my first real hobby grade car which is the kraton 6s and it will be here in a few days. Very excited
I was on the verge of writing off arrma, I own 2 arrma products. The rigs act stupid input sucks turn when they want throttle when they want etc. Long story short after much thought and finally changing radios from their garbage spektrum el cheapo, I used one of my tactic 300 radios and it was night and day. Finally the arrma is enjoyable again and acting like it should. They make some awesome durable rc’s that’s for sure. And affordable too. Thanks for the vid. Like your channel.

There is always that bittersweet feeling when you take a new rig for a rip on the dirt. No longer flawless and beautiful, but the fun takes over and makes it all worth it!

Obviously the better tyres can put the extra torque over the old original power system to the ground better!

I really LOVE that blue/black combo, even if red is a smidge faster🤣🤣. Great save on that nose hit 👌. Many people don't realize how rock solid the dirt is on BMX tracks. I've had some of my nastiest carnage on similar style tracks 😱. Huge props to ARRMA for the tower brace and other great updates. The wheels alone are such an improvement!!! 😍🤘🤘😎💪👊👊

I got my Kraton V4 this past Friday and it’s hands down my favorite truck of 2019 so far. It can take a beating out of the box, I say you should do a torture test at altona!!!

Makes me laugh ,they say the high speed pinion is for flat surface running only ,but I run all my arrmas off road with the high speed pinion and they all run great !! Thanks for the great videos mark uk
Sorry for the rant, just drove the Typhon, it was so fun👻👍🏁 FYI. EVERYONE check your droop screws, My Right front was screwed way down!! Like speed run setting. The rest need to be set so shocks don't extend all the way. Adjusted and everything esle was awesome. I am pretty excited.

Excellent video mate 👍This truck is an animal on 6s , can't wait to see your kraton 4s vid as I've finally bit the bullet and backordered one as my first RC in 10 years! Hope that the bmx track is just undergoing maintenance and not being flattened etc (noticed the rut on the second jump into the corner was fixed a few vids back)
Not sure if you know this but you can program that DX2E. If I remember right you have to either hold down full throttle or full break and turn on the radio. That will enter program mode. There you can change dual rates and endpoints separately and a few other things as well.
The new Kraton has a Spektrum stx2, not a Spektrum dx2e
@@jschouten1985 Oh ya I forgot about that my bad but they might be programmable in the same way would have to look in the manual. I have done it a few times with the DX2E version.

Glad you are running after market radio equipment. I've been seeing alot of people having issues with the stock radio gear, having run aways and other issues. I dont want you to have these issues but if you were to use them and have this issue maybe Arrma would make a change and stop using it, to be honest I like the tactic setup the older versions come with, no problems what so ever. Anyhow check it out I mean the issues and see what you think.

You can't replicate the DuperBash / RC Dude81 huge air look without an action cam on full wide angle mode, and going FULL SEND on the largest ramps you can find. It's not just a driving position difference, it's lens distortion too.

I took my V4 Talion to the BMX track and jumped it very hard. I did a nose landing that made yours look like it landed on a pillow 😂 The chassis and the new brace did bend slightly but the hit was massive! It’s on my TH-cam channel 👍 Anyway, great video as always, Vas 😎👊👍

Nice bash as always vas, I like the other vantage point. Like you said it helps to really see how high you send the cars.
I like the way you bash. We get to see what a stock RC can do in a varied bash by a skilled driver. Your channel is fun and informative. (You need more carnage racing, though.)
As you said the BMX jump pushes the car forward rather than up though you do get air at the BMX track with the "water hazard". So...Sorry to burst your bubble but you aren't getting Rich Duperbash height or airtime... Period. His RC are far from stock. Upgraded chassis, servo, servo mounts, suspension mounts, towers, etc). He bashes the same few beefed up RC over and over on steeper jumps dozens of times per session and still is constantly breaking parts.
Someone running stock is always going to be more prudent (one would expect) than someone beefing RC up with $200+ in aftermarket products.

They didn't even include a Spektrum DX2E. Its something even cheaper than that. Since Arrma uses an analog servo and not a digital, a Spektrum receiver with AVC wouldn't work. That's something to look for in the v5 versions.

Im so excited right now :) Sine the radio seems to be poor I would like to know which one I should replace it with and do you need anything special to replace the radio with? I personally think the T2T brace was a bad idea. The chassis is breaking now not just bending lol I understand they have the customer in mind and watching what we do and thats appreciated but it's just not good.
Bash Master Flex few screws and you can remove it and go back to v3 spec 😜

Stampede 4x4 sells for $649AUD and Kraton 4S sells for $629AUD. It was created to kill the competition. Enough said.

Arrma I believe recommend not to use the high speed pinion gear on rougher terrain. I probably wouldn't go 6S like that. But...is 4S OK on terrain like this with the high speed pinion?

Ok I just got a v4 Typhon it's sweet, but it's not RTR, you can't tell we're stop or reverse is I am truly afraid to run this car with that STX2 radio.,I think It would be easy to damage your car with this radio. I installed a new radio.

After watching this clip - I would like to throw something out there Vas. How about a race with V1, 2, 3, 4 versions of the Kraton? stock or upgraded ? I think it would reveal performance and be rather interesting for Kraton, typhoon, senton, etc fans.....
