Killer tone man! I have a D’Angelico also, a Premier DC. I love it and I can get killer overdrive tones also. And of course it does everything clean and bluesy. D’Angelico makes great guitars.
If it is a full hollow body guitar then it will feedback a lot. You would need a semi-hollow bodied guitar to tame some of the feedback once you use distortion/overdrive.
