Great show. So two things: I agree that the ramp will help for the clip issues with mounts. Should check it out if you already haven't. Second thing is that there's a long roundabout way to get to the artic. It's a connecting cave entrance at K13 that will go to L12. The mouth entrance is slanted N/NE so you know you're looking at the right one when you get there. This tidbit may have been shared already since I'm still playing catchup to your videos. Keep plugging along. And don't forget about the earlier offer of help. The Official Discord has a LFG section that I'm sure plenty of people would help with, myself included.
Dehumidifiers in caves is hilarious! I love how weight and encumbrance works in these games. No way a normal person can walk around with all that weight without pulling or tearing something. I love the stairways to heaven.
@@KederkBuilds did you get Buffy Buffalo to pull a wheel cart yet? Just fnd your chan, binge watched 9 episodes n skipped to this part for fun. Thx for your hard work. ✌
Another great episode! Great job! It is great that you are making the tier 4 benches, but if you go back and look you'll find that you can't make everything you might need from just the tier 4 benches. The cooking benches are a great example. You can't make animal fat on anything but the tier 2 cooking bench, yet on the tier 3 and tier 4 kitchen benches there are many recipes that call for animal fat and you can't process it or make it on either of those tier benches. This goes for pretty much all of the benches in this game; you can take the healing benches (herbalism bench) as another example of an item you need just to make a higher tier item for use. You are also correct that you need to complete certain board missions for Styx in order to open different areas or to even get out of the area you are in. To get out of the area your open world is built in you need to complete the Styx mission "Zephyr", however, I believe that mission is locked behind a few other missions. Personally, I think it might be fun to see you do the missions. However, soloing the missions is extremely difficult if you don't have access to all of the items in the game. I would suggest if you plan to do the missions that you look into either the suggestion me and one other suggested last time to allow you to solo it with one character, or do some research into what type of builds you may need to have to complete the different missions and create different characters so that you can finish them. Personally, I don't like the research, so I drop into a mission and if I don't have what I need I will save that mission (to do later) and do another mission to get the levels I need to open the items that are necessary to complete it, or I call on the others I play with to work with me on the missions. Again just a suggestion. Thank you for this episode. Sorry, I have been busy and didn't get to this episode very quickly. Have a wonderful week!
I think they must have updated it because It looks like I can make Animal Fat in the Tier 4 Kitchen Bench but that's just one example there's definitely things I can only make in the basic version of the bench still.
Don't forget you can place pillars both at an angle and horizontally to build a supporting framework for your stairs. You can put in floors to change direction. You can also build across the cliff face instead of straight out. You can also use floors to alter where you end up, ie to 'move' your endpoint.
The frosty view can be cleared by either taking your helmet off (not sure) or switching off then on the HUD I think (number pad 9 I think). It's a long time since I've seen this...
@@kingkomodo9084- haha, I have used the map a few times but generally I just use the in-game tools to do everything. I enjoy the exploration aspect of the game. I do a lot of wandering around that get's cut out of the videos.
I definitely made my way through Prometheus a lot quicker than my STYX playthrough. I was surprised for a paid DLC that there were so few missions. I did enjoy the story missions and the unique mechanics of the new biomes but it did feel a lot smaller than what I was hoping for.

It's an exosuit! With how slow I'm walking I just imagine I'm dragging a sled full of all this stuff behind me :)

I have yes! It has an amazing capacity for hauling heavy ore back from caves!

I need to play with horizontal / angled pillars again because I didn't have much success last time with actually providing support
i just fell off a cliff in the desert!
You can put a ramp on the side at both ends so you can ride up onto the bridge
Am I the only one excitedly waiting for the next episode right after. Love the progression from the first episode.
Thanks! I'm having a blast so far, can't wait to record the next!
Thanks for your videos, new to the game and they are most helpful.
Thanks! Glad you found them helpful!
The base is looking so cool right now.
Amazing progress. Wow!

Oh nice, I'll try that next time!
i cant fakin find a Cave in the stupid Desert biome!
The cave locations are static. Check out a website called IcarusIntel for an interactive map.

Prometheus bored me very quick. The map was quite a disappointment and my op, a waste of money
