The stuff he did when he was older sounded like sheer desperation, a sad attempt to remain relevant, he even rapped…. 😂 Regarding Jessie J, I doubt 10 years from now anyone will remember this person let alone play their music. I certainly don’t and neither do my teenage kids. Alice has a voice for the ages. The genre she sings is timeless, and no doubt her music when she eventually records an album will be timeless.
Alice is a magnificent blues and 40's jazz singer, havent heard anyone like that since 1947. She is untouchable when she sticks to her venue, stay AWAY from the present day krap and do what you do so wonderfully. Dont waste your time on todays junk music.

I just laugh at the judges........when Simon says someone's voice sounds like liquid gold.......you can't argue.....I can see why that knocked you down Alice, they didn't know what they were talking about and seemed to just throw you to the wayside......I was so glad to hear what Simon said when he did.......who can you trust Simon or these idiots.....duh
so beautiful and so talented. i know this was 6 years ago and she hasn't gone overly far since (regarding being signed long term and putting out music), but i hope she's happy and happy with what all she's accomplished thus far. And I hope she continues to find success in the future. Too much talent to be wasted. :)

The Voice has never been a favorite of mine. I have never been able to figure where they come from.
Watching this video made me feel I could not care less where they do come from.
I am so glad Simon on BGT had the intelligence to see what a great talent Alice is. Such a natural talent is rare and hard to find.

You know the judges fail when the biggest inconsistency is the fact that the crowd really liked her and it seemed like the judges heard her with their backs turned to her.
"Well Sparky"!! that must've been the problem !! The voice has a ridiculous system of judging singing, at a very minimum; facing the singer is needed !!!! They traumatized her and to worsen things the no good for nothing media called her a fake at BGT when she was truly picking up her pieces from this tragedy. So, in her second performance at BGT she again fell apart thanks to people who have nothing better to do then be trolls. Most people lack Discernment when they judge...,, worst yet, they are vain trolls.
That's why its called "the voice". Yes Alice looks the part and appeals to the public but her singing is not up to scratch.
Alice, just keep being you. Your voice is incredibly silky, sensuous and powerful no matter the volume. And you're so genuinely humble. I could listen to you sing with your sexy, sultry voice said all day and night. Every one who hears your voice is blessed. Never stray from just being incredible you! 💞

Here voice is a diamond almost finished the and of cutting....beautiful tone. Unfortunately she picked the wrong song and also unfortunately the juges are deaf....its a shame she was send home. But i have heared she makes an album now...good for her...she is a great singer!

😡 This Beautiful Lady is Truly Talented and can actually Sing like Few Others!!! Although these judges are world renowned I believe they missed a real superstar here?? I fell in love with her the minute she belted out My Funny Valentine on AGT!!! Get a clue judges as you all started out the same way hoping someone would recognize your talent!!!

Why don't you go watch Jessie J perform and then say all of these judges are ignorant. She isn't a fit for the show. She is amazing and will go far, but in a different place. It was a boring performance unfortunately, but her voice is fantastic.

Why do they pretend to understand Jazz? Some ignorant comments and a lack of understanding the genre. The Black Eyed Peas dude is extraordinarily uneducated in this genre and his comments reflect that.

The criticisms were ridiculous, shame on them.
Come now, it's not like they insulted her or ate her alive. They told her well done and gave her a hug. We must allow for a certain degree of personal taste in the music industry. There are plenty of amazing singers whose music I don't care for.
Having said that, I personally think Alice is AMAZING, and these "judges" failed to recognize transcendent talent. I am glad she actually seemed to take this feedback to heart because her light and bubbly song choice didn't show off her emotional range. When she eventually made her way to BGT, it seemed she had figured something out. For all the rest of us, we should remember that setbacks exist in life to teach and motivate.

My lack of respect disappeared for Danny and "Sir Tom" (some of his rather ugly comments were deleted)...and was seriously damaged for Jessie J.
Alice is trying to fund her debut album at kck.st/1yqB7Qo. She's got 13 days to go and it's looking o.k. but you never know...she might really need the help. If we love this music we really need to support it...and support Alice.
The funding was successful. The target date for release of her first album is around September. Look for it!

Gosh, the only compliment she got was that she's beautiful.. However, Alice remained her gracious composure, and won the votes in Britain's Got Talent!!! Love her voice and humble demeanor. The female judge in my opinion kinda sounded a lil jelly 😂

007 Beck I wish it was as simple as you've portrayed. In the second round, where Alice sang 'Cry Me a River, Simon advocated that Alice advance to the finals. But advancing required the most votes texted in from the TV audience. Evidently, that audience consisted of mostly juveniles While juvenile, vastly inferior performers advanced, Alice did not. Alice later published her own album late 2016. I think it did quite well. But she has been silent ever since.
She is not a star (2023) . Was never good enough.
This definitely was not her best. I feel like she could have sang this song so much better and with so much more soul. But that is not to take away from the fact that she is in fact an incredible vocalist! Her audition with " Funny Valentine", was absolutely Sultry and gorgeous.
Funny Valentine was pitchy and points to her lack of success to date.
i do get tired of the constant denigrating of "todays" music.i grew up on Zep and Queen and Dire Straits...and i still love em. But there is absolutely fantastic music coming out today. its all over this site and easier to access than ever before in history.Dont be old prudes.

I was really disappointed the way the judges in the Voice treated alice they didn't give justice to the song u can see how sad her family was when she didn't win. But good for her when she tried her luck again in BGT & finally she was able to show her unique talent & impress the judges. 😊🌸 🍒✨
