Why AC Mirage is going to be INCREDIBLE 😲

- Assassin's Creed Mirage so far looks like it has the potential to be incredible. Claiming to be a return to it's roots, AC Mirage has an emphasis on stealth and parkour, something the older fans have wanted for years.

Do you think Mirage is going to be incredible or is it overhyped?
I think a little above average at best but I know it’s not gonna be spectacular. I’m still really excited for this game though
I reckon it’ll be a solid 8/10 - why not spectacular?
@@IronsideGeorge Ubisoft disappointed me with Valhalla so I’m going in with the expectation that I may be disappointed again, but I really hope that’s not the case and it’s a really good game.
To be fair - If you expect to be disappointed you’ll either be pleasantly surprised or not that bothered 😛 what didn’t you like about Valhalla?
@@IronsideGeorge Because it felt too long and it also felt more like conquering England and building the settlement than an AC game it got bland after a while and I put it down for a bit and finished it later on. The skill tree is also another thing I didn’t like it was too big with a lot of meaningless skills. Side quests were boring I only benefited from getting XP. Basically it felt more like a chore than enjoying what an AC game is supposed to be. Hunting The Order of the Ancient’s was one of the few things I liked.
I hope they add the feature that you hold a button to retract the hidden blade
Nice suggestion. I'd be surprised, but it would be a nice ode to the older games.
Nah. I preffer the Hidden blade being used for assassimations only and not for combat
Remember what ubisot said they were going back to the roots and (in my opinion) they should add combat with the hidden blade if you don't like it they should add it in the settings to swich it off
@@kars_2000 or you know ... just not use it if you don't like it ...
@@kars_2000or… just don’t use it for combat, you had the choice on the older games.
"Wanted System"
So basically the social stealth and notoriety feature of the AC games.
Also the bribing or killing of officials and taking down wanted posters.
Loved how you could steal/pickpocket your money back after bribing lol
Lmao it's been introduced since AC2 and they acting like it's something new 🤣
@@totenkopf28 Right lmao, dumb marketing choice but it's ubisoft so eh
@@totenkopf28just like someone said in another video " you cintroll where the smoke bombs go? Mirage is saved"
@@totenkopf28it still is something new. In AC2 how much notoriety you had never affected anything until you reached full notoriety, which only made guards react to you. This new one would have civilians react as well, plus each bit you gain would affect it instead of it only working when filled.
I honestly loved in unity npc's would get scared if you kill someone and not like black flag where they would just throw hand gestures and curl up in a ball
Adds to the atmosphere!
In AC III they didn't even react. Like you kill 15 guards in the center of the city, and people just start walking over them
@@user-ke5rp5wu3xi don’t think the colonists would be too mad if a couple of redcoats bit the dust
@@user-ke5rp5wu3xac3 most overrated game imo hated the combat, hated the parkour, hated the immersion, hated how long the story took to get going. It had its good moments like the battles but there’s so much bringing it down imo
@@rebeldoctor1904 i actually loved the story, especially the part where you played as Haytham. I think he's the best character in all AC universe. But the parkour is kinda dull especially on console, the game is repetitive, isn't providing any challenge, you don't even have to grind for gear, I've completed the game with starter weapons and still felt overpowered. I'd rate it 6/10
The Wanted System in AC Mirage is probably gonna be another one of those notoriety meter from The Ezio Trilogy And AC3 AND AC Rouge
Very likely - it should impact how enemies and even civilians interact with us, I hope it’s really well grounded!
@@IronsideGeorge that's what I hoping not just some high level enemies on the hunt
Wait...Rouge has a noteriety meter?
How do i not know this peace pf fact already
@@Roman_the_black_cat well it only applies if you commit acts of terrorism and genocide to civillians
I didn't like the teleport attack, but it definitely feels like they're going back to the roots which I'm grateful for
Nah bro 🤣
I agree - it wasn’t what I was hoping for but it hasn’t really deterred me. It definitely seems more like the older games
@IronsideGeorge it's a feature, but not required right? We can just not use it
@@myschnozhurts1522exactly
if you have a problem with it just don’t use it lmao
Just like Rush Assassination in Odyssey, you dont actually "teleport" anywhere, its just visually designed that way to portray the avatar's mastery in agility and speed better.
Black flag is peak assassins creed
After playing this game, Unity is still better at giving the “master assassin” vibe.
I hope that ac mirage lives up to its hype and if I am going to be onest I think so
Man I hope so too - the recent footage they’ve released hasn’t filled me with confidence but I’m still keeping an open mind
It didn’t! Bland, short. Really pointless plot. Did enjoy other addicts but. I was done in 3 days
It did not terrible game
I’m still skeptical, but we’ll just have to wait and see
You don’t have to wait just buy it right now
I really hope there’s going to be a skill tree that has good stuff in it and I hope there is not going to be a thing you have to upgrade your blade
There's no leveling
It’s just a reskinned Valhalla which I’m super happy about Valhalla is my favorite ac game since 3
And it is still an rpg people are getting that twisted.
You can still have all the weapons you could before swords etc.
Mounts
Abilities
The wanted level will be what drives people to use stealth more that’s it pretty much.
Newgen ac games are very narrative tbh more so than the old ac games.
Just more time in between cutscenes and missions make it seem less than the old ones.
Valhalla actually reminds you to use stealth literally everytime you walk into an enemy territory but for some reason people say stealth is useless or they pushed it away.
I’m excited for mirage because it’s going to be so much like Valhalla.
I don’t believe anything UBI has put out so far about this game. I’ll believe when I see it
Teleport attack reminds me of Shadow of Mordor
As a fan of assassins creed that has played every assassins creed I gotta say this is the best one in a long time the parkour is great the stealth is great the story is great and it’s not overly bloated with side stuff where you’ll never be able to finish everything
Wanted isn't a new thing they are just expanding on that concept from ac odyssey
Personally I Love Black Flag, Odyssey, and Valhalla. I have played all of them except Unity, Origins, and Mirage.
Valhalla was my first AC game, and I love it. I don't understand the too long comments. If I pay a lot for a game, I don't want it to end in 2 days. The only thing I didn't love was that a lot of the main missions were taking over a fortress/ castle, but that's pretty historically accurate. I can't see why so many people don't like it.
@@makenzismith8068YAAAA
Unity and Origins are a must. Unity is now actually a smooth game thanks to the decade of work they've done on the game. And if you loved Odyssey then you will enjoy Origins, the map is beautiful and the story is compelling.
This vid aged like fine wine
Did you guys noticed that in AC mirage?
If you look closely and compare AC mirage and AC unity you'll notice that they used the same parkour system but AC mirage's parkour its more fixed and cool, but still, did you guys noticed that?
I am loving it so far personally! Honestly Ubisoft did this one well
Yea your coping
I think I've been let down one too many times to trust any game developers when they make an empty promise
And you are right ac mirage is the best ac from them all
I heard Mirage wont have any side or back ejects, Ubisoft is done for
Really? Not heard that one before - if the overall movement feels solid I'm not overly fussed - we'll just have to wait and see!
has both 😁
I swear after this we will miss the rpg and people will ask for it to be back. Remember i said this
I hope not! I’m glad they’re switching it up, but then I was glad when they switched to rpg in the first place to stop it getting stale 🤷♂️
Ubisoft seem to be having trouble with the true potential of RPGs, they think a game cant be both an RPG and have a story driven narrative.
Retarded fanbase keeps crying about RPG because they couldnt figure out stacking ASSASSIN damage would increase their ASSASSINation damage, certainly doesnt help with the pressure they have on them.
Wrong.
I hated all 3 of those games, and yes, I actually played them.
I am one of those already because this game just feels like it’s lacking too much there is too little especially compared to Valhalla some may say it has too much but you can take your time with it and not have to rush it with this game I don’t want to really explore much and do random quests and activities because there is very little I feel I may aswell just do the story of the game. why couldn’t they combine the two and go back to the roots but also keep an massive open world and make the levelling system that people didn’t like (but I personally did) optional if ac mirage had a bigger map and more to do I wouldn’t mind the game they could’ve mad it the whole of Israel and maybe a little bit of another one of the countries in the Middle East there don’t even have to be story out there it just feels like more content
I don’t think I’m gonna care about the teleportation system emerged as long as it has something to do with the pieces of Eden
It’s supposedly because Basim is moving so fast the animus can’t register it. Honestly, if that’s the only “Godlike” power im not bothered in the slightest
@@IronsideGeorge same
I'm looking forward to this. I miss old AC.
Yes and yes! I just hope it lives up to the hype… happy with what I’ve seen so far though!
Ac was my childhood and i like a game like mirage and ac brotherhood
Seems like a return to form for the series and I'm excited.
I hope it doesn’t have that stalking mission that last forever
We just want unity parkour and AC3 combat in one game
I mean AC2 had notoriety no?
Not really.
Mirage is practicly a dlc of valhalla
This aged like fine milk
I havent bought it yet but i dont get the bad reviews to me it looks great i think it is because the older fans wanted the old formula but forgot that the reason we have the rpg games is because we got sick of the old formula
Honestly - it’s pretty good! Yeah there is negativity out there but the majority does seem to positive ✌️
Ac fans contradict their every sentence when complaining and comparing other games
I like all AC games. When fans fussed about the "superpowers," I just didn't get why. Any AC fan, would also read the AC novels to understand why Ubisoft went the supernatural route. The Isu genetically engineered humans the way they wanted to dumb them down for control, and having the Isu abilities in a human body would be "supernatural" due to Isu genetics thus...eagle vision. Killing templars or Ancients is like killing wicked Isu like Juno or Aita. I miss the abilities Alexios and Eivor had, but I can appreciate old school mechanics also.
I wish they’d return the hidden blade as a melee weapon as well that would be sick
People wanna complain Valhalla wasn’t like the old games but they forget you have a assassin blade in odyssey you don’t
That doesnt make it like how it used to be just because he had a hidden blade.
@@tomaliothetomato439 even so dosent make a difference
That all sounds wonderful, not sure how it will play out though
So it's the older version of assassins creed games but with a wanted poster, I'm still playing the game just to see it through but my expectations are not that high at the moment
In the end mirage was like Valhalla but with 50 hours less of story
Aged like milk
I hope they bring back the old health bar like from ac 2 and possibly even the fact your amrour breaks and needs repairs.
I really liked that with the ezio games but I wished the more you upgrade your health by buying armor from shops would come back instead of just increasing the health uprgading it in a menu. I think the last game that had this was Black Flag. I wonder what conner and other assassin protagonists would've looked like with armor.
I personally never liked that, it was always annoying having to stop at a blacksmith to repair armor. When I play games I just like to rush to the story missions and ignore everything else, so having to stop for repairs is annoying to me.
@@vengeance1450 just get the strongest armor like altair armor, Bruto armor or Ishak pasha armor that are invincible. They created the blacksmith because you can use your money (in ac 2 it's just stupid buy another weapon due to counter attack). You can get these armors pnly at the final phase of the game.
@@vengeance1450 Then learn to play... if you don't suck you don't need to repair your armor every 10 minutes :D in AC2 i repaired my armor in the main sotry like 2 times :,D they iether got replaced with new one or got to the point where i had the altair armor so it doesn't break anymore...
I wish that Ubisoft would remove the adverts when you open the map
I’ve just completed it !! Wow it was breathtaking!! I loved and love every moment of it !! Baghdad is a beautiful environment and the NPCs are so immersive !! Combat is fantastic and the graphics and beautiful! The best AC game I’ve played since Unity /origins 😍😍
Love to see the positivity dude! I’m having an absolute blast too, it’s great!
I’ve always loved the AC games, so I’m hoping for the best!
Heheh I’m trying not to get my hopes up too much 😛
Isn't there also bounty orders in ac valhalla and odyssey too?
Yea
It funny that this is exactly what every AC fan has wanted yet they complain this shit is literally has more things from each game then Unity has. Which according to Unity fans that what supposed to be the franchise yet they are the ones why we are in this position in the first place.
You can’t please everyone - overall though seems to be mostly positive!
I was about to say I hope we get back the older eagle vision, where we saw through our eyes and enemies and targets are colour coded, but then I saw a bird landing onto his arm. So most likely we'll be getting bird POV once again.
I think you’re right. I preferred the older way too!
Its better than magical eagle vision with obnoxious blue hue blocking your sight.
I just seen 2 things that are from ac Valhalla and it’s the exact same animation
If you see this and haven’t got it don’t get it. He’s glazed it in this video
Every assasins creed game is open world. Valhalla if you forget all the assasins creed stuff and see it as its own game its actualy pretty good
“Wanted system” just like in AC2.
Not really. AC2 didnt have a wanted system.
I really like this game. There are so many mechanics missing though. Not being able to do anything while mounted. Not being able to pick up weapons etc. basically give use the older mechanics too. The parkour was good tbf, and the stealth was fun!
I think it will be great but i think it should be open world
I think it's really a great move and truly believe the OG AC fans will love it. Specially like teleportation to kill multiple targets -> reminds me of my grandfather going to local market for groceries like literally back in minutes #so_realistic
If it was like 40 bucks sure but 80 bucks for a game that was originally a dlc. Also its notoriety level like the old games
I loved the Blackbox assassination from Unity and Syndicate I'm stoked they are bringing it back but the replaying ability gets me curious I wonder if it'll be like hitman 2 where you can replay the mission and do it a different way??
They confirmed no mission replay sadly. An unfortunate L for the game, I'll play it nonetheless but it does suck.
I think a more apt comparison for the wanted system is to that of AC II with you tearing down posters and bribing heralds, no killing witnesses though
I don’t know if I’m excited about the storyline focus. Sure it’s great but what I love is the freedom to do the story at my own pace. Explore and find new missions. But it’s a new AC so let’s go!
We need to start seeing Eagle vision again
Isnt odyssey the only game without it
@@Kaizor0329 yeah the raven is honestly ass in valhalla because they went so hard on the vision again
I am super hyped for the game assassin's Creed is my number 1 favorite video game series and I love the fact they had the idea to have a wanted system like in red dead redemption I'm so excited 🤩
Me too!!! I’ve seen a lot of hate already online but so far I’m really positive about it - bring on October!
@@IronsideGeorge a lot of hate about the game already well allot of hate has also dropped on assassin's Creed Valhalla mostly because of the stamina bar which I hated that as well
I kind of get the Valhalla hate… whilst it’s a solid RPG, it’s not like the old games, hence peoples hate for it. But with this, it’s so much more like the OG games I don’t get it!
@@IronsideGeorge Valhalla is more like the old ones than origins or odyssey. And mirage won’t be much different tbh which I’m happy about Valhalla is my favorite ac game to date.
The stamina bar wasn’t that big a deal for me any time you use an ability while it’s depleted it goes back up. But I did my play through as much stealth as possible. So only time I really even used stamina was if I was caught or if I fought bosses.
I agree Valhalla was a great role playing game. They made it very interesting and fun and rewarding to play the ASSASSIN role in the rpg.
They even remind you frequently to use stealth. That was much better than being forced into it like the classic ac.
I feel like people hate on it because they don’t know how to have fun on a game unless the game tells them how to
"best game in years"
Either this is the best AC gamr ever, or it is like a AC 1 remaster
Haven't been this hyped for an AC game in a while
Hate to tell you but i was to until I saw that they are having this one with supernatural features chain assassination you basically just teleport between enemies and kill them similar to one ability in odyssey and the parkour is not so different from Valhalla it’s just that it’s have more things between so it force you into parkour unlike in Valhalla you didn’t really need to parkour but I mean the parkour in the older games wasn’t so good but it was fun because of how the map was built and that’s why it worked and everyone loved it so it’s not necessarily that parkour is going to be bad but it I can promise you it’s not going to be as good like it was in unity. But this super natural ability or even ability’s is turn off for me 😢

Sounds like a great concept! I’d definitely go Templar haha 😂
I want the same weapon system as in blag flag
I was so funny to do sword fights with the hidden blades
Back to its roots? Ubisoft doesn't understand the meaning, if they wanted to, they would go back to the Assassin Brotherhood & Templar Order for the names, they'd bring back a playable present day assassin that was a Miles or Kaczmarek and they'd truly start course correcting and quit trying to redefine so much
Just played the game its definitely a win for ubisoft
A job well done imo

Didn't notice that, they looks exactly like Valhalla's,and Basim still looks super slow, like not running, but jogging 😂
So far I'm liking what they do here but can't actually say until we play and test out the system
It looks too much like a grindfest. I really miss the original AC and Origins was great.
I hope it actually has keybinds in the controls so I can actually have assassination button be X and eagle vision Y
Thats very nice so you rly can pick your own plan not like in ac Syndicate that you puck this and you get that unique assasination
This aged like milk in a desert
Mfs when Ubisoft adds a cool teleportation ability (it means this game isn't back to the roots whatsoever and is automatically terrible)
The old games were great at the time but have aged poorly in the combat, stealth, and parkour so hopefully they aren't taking too many things from them
man they even brought notoriety back
Mirage definitely isn’t better than Valhalla
For anyone wondering hidden blade will not come because if it was it would have been a key feature that Ubisoft would’ve mentioned
You can literally see Basim use the hidden blade in the trailer
I just finished it and I enjoyed the game and started NG+ also started up Syndicate which isn't bad either
