C’mon Holy Ghost u can feel it moving as they sang this song sinnngg Albertina n the musicians them brothers played them instruments organ piano was humming Praise God!!.. u blessed my spirit 💯
Albertina has an interesting voice. It isn't beautiful, but it is distinctive and I love it! The first time I heard her, I was amazed. I couldn't believe a woman could have a voice that deep and gravely.
@@_donald.harrison04man sit yo soft, sensitive, sassy, goofy behind down somewhere 🙄🙄 She doesn’t have the typical voice that most would call “beautiful”. That’s all they were saying. If beauty is subjective, then just because you don’t agree with that person, don’t make them wrong 😂 No one mentioned her success in comparison to her voice
@@adrina911 I do not know of any information on Josephine Howard unfortunately. Her daughter is R&B Singer Mikki Howard who is know for her songs from the 1980's. You can try to research on the internet for more info.

You're right it isn't beautiful but it get's the job done! The same thing was said about Mavis Staples voice. People thought that was a man singing.
BUT IT'S STRONG POWER !!! IN THE HOLY GHOST!!!!GOOD VOICE TO ME!!!!!!
It has a bluesy nature! I love it
A beautiful voice is subjective. Your opinion has no weight on her success as one of the queens of gospel music.

I guess the first from left is Loleatta Holloway, the future DISCO DIVA.
I see loleatta’s beautiful self on the far left.
Can you All find the adult choir singing this song from institutional church choir singing this song 170adelphi streets
Who is playing piano?
probably John McNeil
I think it's Willie James McPhatter
I think that's Loleatta all the way to the left with the tambourine..??
Anybody have an idea who the soprano is? I don't think it's Gwen Morgan?
Is it Josephine Howard?
@@adrina911 It is not Josephine Howard she had left maybe 1 or 2 years prior to this Video.
@@kimoyeehoy3518 oh okay thank you for the update, is there any information for Josephine Howard?

I did a little research. I believe the soprano is Doris Willingham.
What happened to Loleatta. Did she leave and got a better offer. Cry To Me
Yes she made other beautiful music after she left
I like her, but they should’ve let Miss Holloway sing more
