When I first moved to live in the US I only knew a toddler’s level of English and it was very hard at first, going to school and feeling so frustrated that I couldn’t communicate properly and my grades were suffering because I didn’t understand what the teachers were saying. I came home crying several times because even when I tried, kids can be really cruel and they made fun of me and my accent. I didn’t give up tho Over a decade later and I am now impeccably fluent, if I do say so myself, still have a heavy accent while speaking but I know for a fact that my vocabulary is much better than some people that were born and raised here 🙃 so, suck on that Language Barrier! That’s why it makes me so excited and happy when I hear the BTS members improving so much in their English, it makes me think that even without being fluent they were conquering the western music industry so imagine when they all can fluently explain their work to the western public without the need of translators? Is going to be insane and people won’t know what hit them. Joon will be proud.
I could relate so much to this actually even I couldn't speak English properly even after getting admitted in an English medium International School but with time and practise I got better So seeing them improving this much also makes me feel proud of them and myself for knowing such hard working personalities💜
