IMO I thought Cradle Parade (Lamia) writing was peak, but Aeon Reforged easily takes second place or ties.... SPOILERS MGS inspirations: The "kept ya waiting, huh?" reference, the after battle cutscenes with Ballard were literally Old Snake vs. Liquid Ocelot references, and the final text scene teasers about "memes" And for the frame, it is called Epitaph. Watanabe named it so, because of his past comrades and vows. He would hold them all forever within his memories and pass down their stories. This frame was made by the Forsaken and gifted to Watanabe. But there were dirty secrets hidden within the frame... But, the word "epitaph" as a whole is basically the theme of the entire patch's story with Watanabe, and everything we will learn from the past in the Golden Age and PV breakout. The second half of this EP really gives you the feeling of this word.

But it goes to still show they take pride in their story and writing, at the expense of people who whale... but the chapter wouldn't be as impactful if he were an ice attacker or tank. Really sticky situation.

VSS was amazing from the start. But the bar keeps getting higher and higher from them. Amazing. The choirs, the instruments. There'd grandoise and soft, there's uplitfting sections and despair. Truly representative of his endless path.
PGR Main Story Chapter 27 rly takes Asura Wrath game reference for scene introduction and Metal Gear game series reference for battle scene (Especially Watanabe vs Ballard part). The game story is so motivated 🥶🥶
I finished the story, and man. Despite all the losses and pain, this chapter left me with a feeling of hope and wish for building a better future. As I've said before, Watanabe is the best depiction of humanity out of all characters, and I sincerely hope we keep seeing more of him.
Watanabe is the best of humanity in a character. The journey of his beautiful, painful, hopeful life in this chapter is masterfully brought out with this track. I am eagerly anticipating this patch's release in Global, can't wait to experience this story for myself.
This is the music that makes you feel like you're getting back on your feet. Feelings of sadness, emotion, motivation, fighting spirit are all well packaged into one, VERY GOOD👍👍
