  • Cabin in the woods full home tour Video. We returned 2 years later to add some snow retention bars to the cabin in the woods project. I thought it would be cool to do a full home tour and show you what one of our projects looked like 2 years later. I wanted to see how things were holding up, talk through some of the stories from the build, and over all reminisce about the Cabin in the Woods project.
Cabin in the Woods plan is available here

I love Greg. I hope he is getting a good paycheck, for his contribution to this channel. Afterall, Kyle has 1.28M subscribers, and Greg is a huge part of that success. Greg rents a house from Kyle, and if you remember they did a series on remodeling that rental home for Greg. They are a good team. Kyle…take care of your employees that are integral to your success.

Probably the best Ryan's th-cam.com/users/postUgkxGZedDTcDfgD7fG_uU4esfx_EgxzlY2_1 Plans on building a shed is hardly ever found. And Ryan takes the mystery out of different types of foundation options, etc. He even shows how to build a shed with different designs. Very comprehensive, covering different roofing materials, siding, etc.

What's awesome about a barndominium is that you can customize them much easier than typical houses. And I'm glad he mentioned if this isn't what a person like us would like that's fine but it's what the HOME OWNER wanted. And that's what is important. You can dream it and someone can make it happen to how you want it.

Beautiful work here. My wife's family are all in the trades, and one thing they always mention is the accomplishment they feel seeing the buildings they've built over the years. They are all much older, so imagine what it's like seeing a place you built 30 or 40 years ago! I have no doubt that the quality of your build will last generations. We are just about to start on our own build up here in the UP, and I'll be using your builds as my template. Folks here think I'm crazy, but I know they won't when they see the finished product. Thank you so much for all the time and effort it must take to film & edit all the content you so generously share.

I've been following your channel for a number of years now and thoroughly enjoyed every episode of the build of the Cabin in the Woods. Like many of your viewers I'm sure, I too have said to myself, "some day I'll have to have a cabin like that."
One of the things I most enjoy about your channel is the working relationship that you and Greg have. It is always professional, but clear that you both respect each other and enjoy the relationship. The sign of a long lasting relationship that you will look back on with pride.
This was also one of the first times that I've witnessed Greg in a larger speaking role and I was not disappointed. Even though Greg appears more in the background of most of your videos, it was clear that Greg is as comfortable and articulate speaking on camera as you are.
Keep up the outstanding work and thank you for allowing us to tag along.

Insulation is key for all noise inside. I insulate all my inside walls. Even just R19 makes a huge difference. In a nice open floor plan the other options to help are flooring type (add rugs) and wall hangings and curtains for the windows. Your 4 part post is actually something several Pole Barn co. do up here in Idaho. Inside outside they do great with less twist and all that fun stuff. I just got a job where they have a deck over a porch and they want the porch protected from water/weather so that's going to be fun. Also, another popular thing to use in trim areas is using rope for accents around doors and windows. Looks great guys!!! Well done! Your quality and attention to detail is what made me subscribe to your channel way back.

You just don't get many small business like you have any more.
