You know, you can't please everyone. Keep your videos "long winded" for us folks that want to learn how you do things, appreciate you taking time to do this and keep it real. Like you said, this is real life.
There are videos to satisfy every need. Some like their videos long and some like them short. I usually look at how long the video is and decide whether I am going to watch it or not especially on a how-to video. Some videos, in my opinion, are done for the how-to aspect only or the social. I think this one is for both.
My first impression of your salsa/canning video was "oh please don't make me watch you chop all that stuff, please don't drag it out!" However, by the end, I was smiling and slowed down enough to get right into this delightful experience. Thanks!
I love all your videos I am 59 years old and remember canning with my grandma and now I am canning everything I can find. Even my husband has gotten into it. Thank you for your inspiration please keep sending out those videos.
Those, tomatoes are making my mouth water. I love tomatoes. I’m watching this several years after you actually made the video, so I know the future! I must say,, I bet your ex is starving since you have moved on! Blessings to you and yours!
I am a beginning canner and I was happy to see you used a water bath, I don't have a pressure canner yet! My mouth was literally watering as I watched your video, so yes, you definitely inspired me! Thank you for an awesome video!
So happy I just found this I was planning to garden for my first time and do some canning this year and you were so helpful !!! Please keep making long winded versions !!!
I am like you are but I smile when I hear the popping.!! Fun to have by everyone that cans. I am working at getting what is needed to start canning. Will not be long and I will join the forces. Have a wonderful day and week and month. Thank You
Love your videos, your kitchen is clean therefore I trust what your doing. So many people making these videos, you would think they would know no one wants a recipe from a person with a dirty kitchen. Appreciate that your kitchen looks spotless so I trust your knowledge and looking forward to you videos.
Although I don't comment on your videos often, I watch them. As a matter of fact, I am going back through many of my faves of yours on dehydrating and canning. Thank you for motivating me this past week! I have dehydrated mushrooms, kale, spinach, celery and strawberries as well as freezing some strawberries and making strawberry jam! Thanks so much for taking the time to let us into your world and bring us along for the ride! Oh BTW...I love Bexar Prepper as well!
I canned salsa yesterday, I enjoy seeing other peoples ideas and I really enjoy your, you say that you want to inspire us, that you have done. Love your videos keep them coming..
I enjoy watching your vids I have learned so much, I'm 69 and I been canning for years. But you always have different versions of canning, I'm watching your salsa videos now as you explain you have inspired me to do something different with canning. By the way we live in tn.and its January it's cold up here.and my name is Linda to.thanks so much for your vids. Would like to see a video on summer squash.
Thank you Linda for all the tips and the lessons I have learnt from your videos. I live in England and I get excited every time I learn about the different things we can can. Thanks a million.
Linda, thank you so much. You`ve taught me so much.I am putting in my first garden this year.I bought a dehydrator, the seal-a-meal and the canning supplies I will need. You are such an inspiration to this newbie baby prepper. You rock!
Hello, Linda. I came across your video on dry canning hamburger meat yesterday. That was the first one of your videos that I had ever seen. Since then, I have watched probably 15 videos and subscribed to your channel. I have thoroughly enjoyed all of them. It is refreshing to find that I am not alone in the world as a person unable to tell a short story. ;-) I am looking forward to trying several of your ideas for meals in a jar. I LOVE garlic, so it is nice to find someone that is not afraid to use it. I have not browsed your channel page enough to see if you are still doing new videos. The ones that I have seen have all been from 2012. If you are still at it, good., Keep up the great work.
I really like watching your videos, I myself have been canning for over 20+ years and it's always nice to see the different techniques people use. I've not attempted to do videos on my canning but haven't. I love canned food so much over store bought canned foods. I just finished pickles and salsa. Next is fruit for baking and just eating and a new pressure canner.
I love that it's finally a salsa canning video that actually has some spice to it. Thank you for making this a real salsa and not just tomato sauce with some bell peppers added.
Linda,my daughter makes a huge amount of salsa each Summer but even after gifting quite a bit, some goes bad and gets thrown out. She has commented that she thinks canning will take away that fresh taste so your idea of adding fresh bits to it after opening ,is great. I'm going to tell her to watch this video😊 All the comments about (no recipe!),evidently those folks don't realize that good salsa isn't a precise thing! It's a taste as you go deal!😊😁
I just love it,i will be to try it for sure. i have my garden also and is doing greit ,i live in Nevada also and my man every year olso going to hunter ..very good on that always in his first day..happy i am because i miss him so much when he is gone .
Always interested in other people's salsa recipes! I just ordered purple tomatillos seeds yesterday so hopefully I will be making PURPLE salsa next year! I'm super excited about it! Thanks for the lovely videos they're always enjoyable!
a tip from one cook to another if you put your garlic in a mason jar and shake it, the first good shakes will break the head apart. take them out take away all the skin that came off the put it back in there and shake it some more all of the remaning skin will come off love doing this it saves me so much time and I like the fact that you tell me what you are doing and why. Thank you.
Great video! Thanks! I appreciate the step by step instructions. Thanks for your time! It's not long winded it's just that our culture has become impatient.
Oh and thank you! I love the videos. I am new at this canning stuff, am doing a orgnic garden and i am in a organic farm share. So I am OVER WHELMED with veggies and there is just two of us most the time. but I always made fresh salsa and now I want to can it.

I just had to stop what I was doing and say I made ur recipe I add some smoke liquid and half lemon juice mix with apple cider vinegar thank u so much I just finished and both my kids were already eating it not sure if it's going to last...lol God bless thanks a million
If you grill the tomato , chile, and the onoion and garlic until they scar, you can get that smoked taste without having to add liquid smoke.
Hi, Linda -- thanks for this vid. I'm going to give it a go -- soon as my peppers and tomatoes are ripened. Have you ever done a vid on your pantry showing all your canned goods? Would love to see all your stuff.
I rely on the ball canning book:)
Not cold and I would check the ball canning book:)
