What ended up happening to it theu yrs? WISSOR just basically not be able to afford to run the excursion train anymore? So they parked didn't just let it sit on the siding?
WSOR was sold to WATCO, an Australian company, back in 2011. While WATCO runs a good railroad, they aren't into the "toys" like WSOR's original owner was. These passenger cars were part of a WSOR business train which saw no use after the sale. WATCO also owns the Agawa Canyon Railroad where the cars were moved to because that railroad does have a tourist train and will likely put the passenger cars to good use.
@@RugbyJunction very cool at least keeping it in the family LOL Yeah I knew about watco They own the kanawha River valley railroad down by Charleston West Virginia I've seen it many times when I'm trucking down through there
They're adding them to the agawa canyon tour train owned by watco
I caught them leaving Janesville about a week ago.
Were those parked on the siding up there at Rugby this past Friday afternoon?
