Not a political statement but this is incorrect. The notion of Achilles having a homosexual relationship with Patroclus has no real basis or evidence from the original song, and has been only alluded by from texts written centuries later. As far as I know this notion comes from Achilles being very saddened by his death, but that's no real evidence. I could be wrong, maybe you're referring to some other part of the song that makes you believe this.

To most other characters, he’s brash, aggressive, arrogant, and ill-tempered.
But to Patroclus, he’s compassionate, calm, and expressive. So while it’s obviously not clearly stated by Homer, it’s clear to most readers that Patroclus relationship with Achilles was special, though how “special” it was remains hotly debated.
So you could make a valid argument for both sides, but I still find it funny they choose a character who possibly did have a homosexual relationship for a anti-LGBTQ video.
Yeah they were just good friends. Older writing like that does not modernize well because our language on how we talk about friendship is just too vastly different to understand it without having a good background on this style of writing.
