props to paul watched him on all the usuals for about 5 years now one of the most naturally funniest men iv watched you cant teach whitt he has it abundance
Anyone that says "he just does the same thing each time, whats your name where you from" etc. try it. It takes a lot of skill and such a quick mind. Well done to him hes brill.
His entire act is crowd work. Majority of top comedians (particularly in the US) don’t do crowd work because it’s seen as basic and something you do when your material isn’t working. The reason he’s so successful is because us as British people LOVE to take the piss out of each other it’s something we do as kids and never stop doing it’s part of our culture however Americans would find it very offensive. Show me a video of this fella doing his stuff in America there isn’t one because it won’t work. He’s a big name in the comedy world IN THE UK. Nobody in America has ever heard of him
@@gettobythesea maybe paul doesn't give a shit if America knows him, i couldn't name a single American comedian that isnt just an actor thinking they are funny
Saw Paul in Manchester on day 2 of the tour, day one had a mini riot. I have never laughed so much in my life. This lad deserves all the cars he can buy
Great comedian, great interview, big fan of Chris moyles, hope this guy goes all the way, I've been watching him for a while, has me in stitches, come to Birmingham ill definitely buy a ticket
Moyles makes me laugh acting like he’s skint he’s worth 20mil plus & at the end he says my best mate owns a Private Jet company haha Moyles is absolutely balling trying pretend he isn’t - Paul Smith is a legend very funny and down to earth love him
Do you just love the ones on tv?? Because if so your missing out on genuinely the best comedy out there. Look out for Adam Rowe and Dan Nightingale too.
@adamwarburton5572 I'll be honest yes as that's where most of them reside.cant say I've seen many new comedians on yt who I've liked so I'll go give him a watch. I do like a broad spectrum too.
I’ve been following Paul smith for years , went to see him last week for the 1st time and was so disappointed. His first 20 min where ripping the audience/crowd work fantastic but his actual planned routine was just him talking about his cars. Good luck to him tho
A guy who’s main “stick” is calling women on the front row “Slags”. The O2 arena show is nowhere near selling out either. Just pop on to AXS website, not even 1/4 sold out. Not even funny in the slightest
@@Parmajohn123 Typical social media goon, he just said he doesn’t like him as I don’t, but it’s nothing to do with being hurt or offended, there’s loads of comedians out there that swear and are rude but in a funny way, this fella ain’t funny.
Not really. You've just created a problem yourself there. With the stuff he's said he would have been cancelled a long time ago if he was going to be. I bet you just walk around getting offended about pretending people are getting offended.
That's why he doesn't get the TV exposure etc. he has literally had to do all of it himself. I've seen him live the last 4 years from a university bar to a sell out arena tour.
I watched this to see if i could understand the hype around the fella, as seen a few clips... (and errr nope, don't get it, as he's not clever or funny or understandable, )... THAT SAID Chris Moyles has defo become better at being an interviewer.
Seriously, the guy just got lucky that some folk found him funny. He's a 70s Social Club act at best. Nothing original, nothing unique, nothing special... nothing.
I agree but there's a large market for what he does. John Bishop is another. Very traditional. His act could easily have been from the 70's. It's not my bag, but I guess a lot of folk like this style. They certainly get large audiences for it. Also, to be fair, their stagecraft is good.
props to paul watched him on all the usuals for about 5 years now one of the most naturally funniest men iv watched you cant teach whitt he has it abundance
Watched him in Birmingham a couple of months back and it was brilliant. Keep doing your thing paul

Aww how good is that he made it! Good for him! Love he doesn’t have a manager ! 👏 ❤
Social media is the new media. Wise moves, Paul ! I love Paul Smith, i love the 15-second clips 😂

Very odd interview towards Paul there, Chris was a bell end imo
Is he your support animal? He's a right knob
We all wish we where paul smith made a living out taking the piss goes round the world and loves life nothing stressful about it thats a dream job
Why is a video of a radio station got the worst audio . Surely they would have the best mics
Chris couldn’t handle how much more famous Paul is than him and the fact he financially benefits from being famous and not on salary 😂😂😂
Hahah such a legend
He's cracking, enjoy it while it lasts fella. 👍👍
Maybe it's the north / south thing... I'm from the far south, never heard of this guy and couldn't understand a word he said.

Same when he was in Birmingham, did he 20 mins then he got his mate on for 30 mins then had a break and did 40 mins.
He has changed his accent somewhat not as bad as on his videos
Sounds like a show off 🔔 end
He has too much head for his eyes
His teeth just blew my retintas
Chris comes across like the bitter one in the office in this interview and that accent impression is horrible
Paul smith does not live in a council estate. Fact.
Surely he won’t be allowed to go on like this in this woke era ?
Airbus use a joystick
Boeing use a yoke
