"I suppose one would have to learn a complete new lexicon..."
Now that is definitely the first time I've heard that phrase (or anything remotely close to it) in a colorblind-glasses video!

I'm so happy these glasses exist and I'm so happy that this man got to experience color seeing that he is at an advanced age. May he have many more years of vibrant color and may many more adults and children get to experience the world in color.

Yes, and they work great :)
I was only slightly colorblind, missing mostly dark reds. Now colors are unique. I wear them daily. Every light in a house gives off a white light. They always gave off a yellow light that was too overpowering. Very odd, but I no longer sit in the dark in my apartment, because light actually doesn't distort color anymore. Trees have tons of shades of brown, and I have to say though I thought that plants were typically smudged brown, i really just was seeing too few shades of brown to recognize the difference. Worth every penny.

+wutt They learn to call the various muddy browns they see instead of red and green by the same names other people call those shades, but they don't see the same colors. It's only when the glasses go on (and they don't work for everyone) that they see the difference.
