Just brilliant. As an acoustic engineer I have some headache regarding the array of tweeters and midrange speakers. Their phase response should be expected more than wild giving the sound reproduction of the speakers a more or less directionless quality or a quite idiosyncratic „stage“. Would be very much interested to listen to them with todays audio productions, though.
the pre design reminds me of a Dalek from Dr. Who. but easy to replicate with basic knowledge of acoustics and car speaker wiring installation. I hope. Lol
bno really miss the creative genius of jacob jensen and david lewis most of their recent designs have been awful this monstrosity included what happened to their ethos of disappearing into the background ?? ostentatious crap
i'm sure it sounds ok , for $30k a speaker - it should - i think it looks utterly horrible wouldn't give you 27cents for it tbh there's so many superb speakers around from real hi fi manufacturers that this is just pointless imo bno are basically all show and not a lot of go , i know i used to buy their stuff... not any more
