yea I saw that and was like soo cool. I also love all the other nod, like morph turning to Illyana (Magik) and then into her Darkchylde form. I love how the opening keep changing a little, like in this ep. we saw another scene from the basketball game (X-Men #4 I think) and gambit dipping Rogue for the kiss (which played out here). So much good stuff
This adaptation of the Madeline Pryor/Goblin Queen story arc is honestly FAR better than in the comics. Originally Madeline broke bad not because of Sinister’s influence, but from Scott abandoning her for the real Jean. Which made Scott look horrible because while Madeline is a clone she’s still the mother of his child and their feelings for each other were in fact real. And I loved that in the end Madeline was freed of Sinister’s control and will now live her own life free to do what she wants. It was also a great idea to have their memories merge so that no one knows who was who during when. Also I loved her costume redesign. Instead of looking like it was designed by a horny teenage boy she looks like an actual witch. And I’m still surprised that the animators made the nightmare scenes look like if Guillermo Del Toro did a remake of The Thing.
I think it was done well, I just wish it had been stretched out at least over 2 eps. I meant Storm's LifeDeath story is going to play out over eps. 4&6. Just would have like a little more Maddie. I figured we wouldn't get anything like the actual inferno story but was hoping for a little more. I'm sure there's a lot the plan to cover a lot more lore, and I love it.
Happy the original voice of Mr. Sinister is back for this series. This episode was insanely amazing!!! Also very cool Wendy watching this episode in Jubilee cosplay.
In the comics Cable uses most of his vast psychic power to stop the techno-organic virus consuming him. His 'cyborg' parts are actually those parts of him that have been transformed by the virus.
It is incredible that all the original actors did return, including Mister Sinister. I loved seeing him back.♦😈❤ And my goodness girl...what a great Jubilee cosplay 💥💜💜💜
Jubilee's cosplay is legit! Just need the bubblegum! I loved this episode people forgot how scary and body horror the X-Men comics can be! Great reaction folks!
This episode is so cool, every scene is so amazing. The voice of Queen Goblin so amazing. I love itThe dialogue of jean and madelyn is so wonderful and the cinematic of it is so epic. The Mr. Sinister scene is amazing they did a gotic-horror vibe in it which is so good. I'm happy that they are using the comics story line in this series. thank you for your wonderful reaction. Very informative and I do really enjoy it!
3 episodes in and this is the saddest one yet. The whole madelyne and jean situation really reminded me on when ben and peter fought during the end of the beyond arc. Both pairs during their arcs tackled the very motion of identity and the role memories have in achoring or affiming one self and how trauma can warp our notion of truth. Oddly enough its in the datk web storyline where jean and maddie finally settle the matter once and for all the same saddly can be said for peter and ben. As to the whole mansion horror show its lossely based on the inferno storyline in which NYC got a demon invasion but here they foccysed on madelyne descent into villany not to mention dealing with how everyone questioned the revelation that the jean theyve known wasnt even the real one and the following mental breakdown and even some ptsd from morph due to sinisters machinations. But the most tragic part is nathan getting infected with the technoroganic virus and having to sent into the future along with bishop hopefully future forge and help him which will lead into nathan becoming cable maybe mentored by bishop while in the comics it was mother askani aka racchel summers from the future who takes nathan into the future; all while cyclops has to deal with plethora of issues he has bottled up to this point. The guy lost his mentor/ father figure, gets hunted down by sinister, learns his father is alive and never came back to earth for him and alex, got married to a clone of the woman he love and now has to sent his son into the future alone in his words abandoning him like he thinks corsair did with him and have to now deal with a jean inst the same. Imma calling it now by the end of this season cyclops is definitely leaving the mansion and have storm lead the team while he takes time to get some much needed therapy. Sidenote: next episode is the begining of lifedeath one of the best stories centered on our favorite goddess as she along with forge try to help her reconnect with her powers
The Goblin Queen aka Madelyne Pryor is a character that's been in the comics since the 80s, in the comics she was presented as Madelyne from the start and a Jean Grey look-a-like (this was after the death of Jean Grey after the Dark Phoenix saga), Cyclops marries her and has Nathan, but it is revealed she is a clone of Jean Grey made by Sinister, this and Jean Grey resurrection drove her crazy, this attracted a demon who offered magical powers, along with her Jean Grey powers that awakened, she called herself the Goblin Queen and tried to bring hell into the world, this was part of the Inferno saga, there was another plot happening at the same time with Magik (who appears briefly as Morph transforms into her). Also the guy at the end is Forge, he is a mutant who can create anything, he doesn't know how the things he build works until he finishes them and see them work, from there he reverse engineer it to understand how, whatever he made, works. He is the person Bishop says he knows in the future, Future Forge appears in the og animated show,; Forge appeared to the present day X-Men when they fought X-Factor. This was when Iceman thought Polaris was kidnapped by X-Factor.
I have a theory that magneto is helping rogue to control her powers in the danger room. We all think something more sinister is happening but it isn’t. There is a story In the comics where rogues body was taken over temporarily. It was revealed that rogue could control her powers. She just thought she couldn’t. Again, just a theory. I’m not sure how I feel about them using that story line. I like that she couldn’t control her powers.
But... you guys already saw this in the cinema right? Good acting? haha. Thanks for the nice reactions, I can't wait for you guys to review the next one.
Forge will help Storm get her powers back, but she will find out Forge also created the original weapon that stole her powers to begin with for the government
11:57 You say you can't abandon your son and yet you're walking away when this is possibly the last time you'll see him? I know it's been a rough day Scott but you're really making a mistake.
After Jean attacked Scott, Morph changed to a lady with a sword and Russian sounding accent. You guys think that was Illyana (Magik), the Russian teen mutant in the movie, The New Mutants?
This story rewrites an entire section of the comics. In the comics Jean died as phoenix. Scott leaves the x men meets and marries madilyn prior and they have a child Nathan. He does go into the future for the techno virus. He is cured and does return but as an adult known as cable.
That WAS a trippy episode! There are some really bold choices going on with this series. I used to think this was going to build into the MCU, but it seems like it's going to stay its own thing. And now there are rumors of talks of "Spider-Man '97"....
Love the Jubilee (one of my favorite characters) outfit Wendy, and the reactions from you both as always. If I may ask, what program do y'all (or anyone that can help) use for editing (specifically what you're watching)? The program (I use works for TH-cam stuff, but for things like Disney plus, it won't show/record what's playing and just shows it as black. keep up the great content. Also, if you haven't seen it yet there's a " THE SPIDER WITHIN: A SPIDER-VERSE STORY | Official Short Film" on the Sony pictures page.
“As if I don’t know” I was not ready for a Wolverine & Morph bromance NOW and all of a sudden Cos I’m not aware of their relationship? But I’m here for it def. 👀🍿
The only problem with watching these vids is that my algorithm thinks I want to be spoiled for episode 4 cause it will pop up react vids on my feed before I get to watch episode 4 on Disney+.
I don’t want to spoil so don’t read if u don’t want but Forge is the one who created the weapon that erase the gen X and If i remember he found out bout it try to make up the mess and they’re having a relationship but Storm learn it and leave him
No, that wasn't irony when Cyclops walked out. Notice that he said "I can't be a part of this" instead of "I won't let you send him away" right before he walked out? It's the equivalent of making a decision to pull the plug on a family member who's on life support. It's not a decision for one single person to make, and those who disagree about it ultimately still end up having to live with the decision, but at the very least, they should have the right to choose whether or not they want to be there to see them off. In this case, Cyclops probably knew that he would have done anything to stop Bishop from leaving if he was there, so he took himself out of the picture to grieve alone.
I dont think Charles is Dead and Magneto Knows it but he is badly hurt cause they in cartoon form always make the Professor off main story cause his great mental powers
As someone who grew up with the FOX films and didnt really read the comics + is new to the OG series, it was nice seeing moments like Jean with Logan and the Magik-Morph cameo that reminded me of the movies
Are you two a couple? You knock Scott for not being apart of giving his son away to a virus and time. Ill admit yea' messed up at first, but when the alternative is you're new born sons death?.. Yea' welcome that scenario into youre life. Yet you say "aww" for a man who's making strong Advancements towards another man's soul mate, wife!. If you are a couple, I expect you to say you're as welcoming with that as you portray here. Wolverine has always been a garbage man when it comes to Scott and Jeans relationship. I'd love to do reactions. Happy you two can do it together. As an excessive fan of the X-MEN, I'm Enjoying joining you're reactions.
I like your Jubilee cosplay
Thank you!!
That Jubliee cosplay is bangin!
LOVE Wendy's Jubilee cosplay. Top notch.
Thank you!
The Jean Grey-Scott Summers wedding photo was a direct copy of an X-men comic book cover (X-men #30 March 1994).
Great Easter egg.

Lol "if Guillermo Del Toro did a remake of The Thing", that's a damn good analogy.
Could've easily been a 2 parter but getting it done in 1 episode is also quite a feat
Plus, she was corrupted by S'ym and N'astirh.
yea
Happy the original voice of Mr. Sinister is back for this series. This episode was insanely amazing!!! Also very cool Wendy watching this episode in Jubilee cosplay.
So I’m guessing Mr Sinister is like X-Men’s top villain.
@@raymondmaciel4047 top 5 not main

This show is wild in the best ways
It is incredible that all the original actors did return, including Mister Sinister. I loved seeing him back.♦😈❤
And my goodness girl...what a great Jubilee cosplay 💥💜💜💜
Not all, but a lot. OG Rogue, Beast, and Wolverine actors are back. Including Sinister, like you mentioned. Everyone else is new.
Jubilee's cosplay is legit! Just need the bubblegum! I loved this episode people forgot how scary and body horror the X-Men comics can be! Great reaction folks!
the drama is better than a mexican telenovela!!!😰😱😅😍😍
😂
Leagues better.
Such a great episode and so many easter eggs. Great cosplay Wendy!
Another great episode. The animation is absolutely stunning and gets better with each episode
Jump Scare, horror vibes and the ending reminded me of The Sixth Day between Jean Grey and Madelyne Pryor.
This episode is so cool, every scene is so amazing. The voice of Queen Goblin so amazing. I love itThe dialogue of jean and madelyn is so wonderful and the cinematic of it is so epic. In the alternative and main stream they were together they even had a child before that reality was erased
magneto is also working w Mystique (blond UN Girl) trust and see 👀 the trial was made up + the genosha alliance 😏
Easily my favorite episode so far!
Loving so much Wendy's cosplay. 😍😍🔥🔥🥰🥰🙌🙌
I Thought you guys watched all 3 Episodes at The Theater
But... you guys already saw this in the cinema right? Good acting? haha. Thanks for the nice reactions, I can't wait for you guys to review the next one.
Scott Summers / Cyclops is the Ross Geller of the X-Men. 🙃
At one time they were talking about making Jon Hamm play Sinister in live action, now I can't unsee that.
Dumping him in that ooze Oh this kid gonna be chilling the ninja turtles
5:22 - This episode has 'Spirited Away' animation vibes.
I got unnerved just looking at the thumbnail… yet I still clicked anyway.
Forge will help Storm get her powers back, but she will find out Forge also created the original weapon that stole her powers to begin with for the government
7:12 For a second I thought Wendy was mimicking Jubilee's firework powers 😂👏
😂
They really hate framed pictures in this series
That’s good foreshadowing for how shattered the entire team will be throughout this season.
Dustin… what’s up man get that gambit cosplay going!!
11:57 You say you can't abandon your son and yet you're walking away when this is possibly the last time you'll see him? I know it's been a rough day Scott but you're really making a mistake.
The shenanigans has began
After Jean attacked Scott, Morph changed to a lady with a sword and Russian sounding accent. You guys think that was Illyana (Magik), the Russian teen mutant in the movie, The New Mutants?
That's exactly who that was.
That is an awesome cosplay. How are you both doing?
This story rewrites an entire section of the comics. In the comics Jean died as phoenix. Scott leaves the x men meets and marries madilyn prior and they have a child Nathan. He does go into the future for the techno virus. He is cured and does return but as an adult known as cable.
Inferno series in 80s a demon name N'asthir joins forces with her huge battle including sinister is targeted
That WAS a trippy episode! There are some really bold choices going on with this series. I used to think this was going to build into the MCU, but it seems like it's going to stay its own thing. And now there are rumors of talks of "Spider-Man '97"....
What a episode sinister is the main baddie. Overall I was tripping out and full of emotions I felt so bad for Scott and Madelyn (Hello Cable)
Love the jacket and glasses
Please keep the Jubilee cosplay for the rest of the series.🙏🤞
Hmm I wonder who Dustin could cosplay as.... 🤔
I call it now Wendy is going to be our next jubilee in Xmen
Cool cosplay, Wendy! All that’s missing is the bubble gum….
"This is so messed up" should have been the episode title.
Mr. Sinister was always my favorite.
It's such a fantastic episode
With Morph using Magik this week, I guess that means there is a chance of having Piotr, Kitty, and Lockheed show up.
The moment Scott & Jean were kidnapped by Sinister is when she was exchanged./ Reminds me of Austin Powers won’t spoil it
The different scenes in the intro are literally scenes from the OG show but with the new animation.
Good news for Logan, he can have Jean now and it would explains why Cable is named after Sinister

Wendy uses Final Cut Pro and Dustin uses DaVinci for editing =)
Thanks@@TheMovieCouple I apprecialte it y'all😊
So Scott is married to Madelyne, meaning Madelyne is Cable’s mother not Jean, Dammit
“As if I don’t know” I was not ready for a Wolverine & Morph bromance NOW and all of a sudden Cos I’m not aware of their relationship? But I’m here for it def. 👀🍿
Halloween came early.
The only problem with watching these vids is that my algorithm thinks I want to be spoiled for episode 4 cause it will pop up react vids on my feed before I get to watch episode 4 on Disney+.
Omg she wears Jubilee outfit so cute ☺️
That's definitely the real Jean Grey, she's fainting all over the place. Sinister lured Magneto and Xavier to the Savage Land, they're not friends.
I wish they’d explain when the switch happened
I don’t want to spoil so don’t read if u don’t want but Forge is the one who created the weapon that erase the gen X and If i remember he found out bout it try to make up the mess and they’re having a relationship but Storm learn it and leave him
Jubilee wendy😊
Y’all didn’t have to put that in the thumbnail 😭

So the baby is Stryfe. Not cable. This is getting good.
if they're going by the comics, he'll be Cable. Stryfe was cloned from Nathan, free of the TO virus.
Sunglasses when? Cool!!!
Are you guys not married yet? Been seeing your content for years, tie the knot already!
Just celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary 💖
It would make more sense to me if Cable was actually Jean’s son and Stryfe would be Madelyne’s son
The big reveal... the moment we've been waiting for when she says her name... here it is... and you cut it out of the video FFS
Well actually we had it in but that segment was pinged for copyright so it was either cut it out or have the entire video blocked. 🤷🏻♀️
Weird how that copyright hits different people like that
They actually have it in the video when she says the evil name
It’s wild. There’s no rhyme or season to which part that could get pinged.
This episode was pretty much the origin story of Cable. He uses his psychic powers he got from Jean Grey to contain the virus inside of him. 🦠
