I think it's just me, but these tutorials feel backwards, obtuse, and wordy. There is a lot of telling and not showing. It's like she's trying to pitch me on the idea, but I've clearly already chosen this, so why she is trying to pitch me? I'm very frustrated after 30 minutes of tutorials and I still don't know what photo file they are using to get it to show up in the app. Is it jpeg? a tiff? Gif? I still don't know how the code gets broken between lists. I still don't know how to create a user friendly home page. Though, that may just be me too. I'm still going to try a couple dozen more times, but if these tutorials don't start showing what I need, I'm going to have to abandon this.

@@Softr Wow, I didn't think you guys would actually see this. I did figure out the images. The homepage video was helpful. As for broken links, at the time I was creating pages and trying to create actionable buttons to link to those pages. Now I see what I wanted to do was use the dynamic grids to link separate sheets, which is not how it is designed. I think I'm understanding more of how things are put together, which was my main goal. I wanted to start with something easy as I know very little about code. As a note, the tutorials were really hard to get thru. It would be helpful if it had section marks in the TH-cam video to skip to. I believe I will have to switch to another app creation tool to do what I really want. I want to mark items "complete" in a record and have the record change color like an "if formula" in google sheets. thanks! you guys do have a lot of energy and passion which is pretty cool
A tip for newbies, I am also learning Softr, Softr has left the API keys instead the OAth is used which is faster.
Is there any details on using google sheets coming? That’s my primary use case, but info is sparse.
