well, zzh is introverted in general - as an actor it is often easier to put an extroverted facade so you don’t seem boring , but in an interview he said that it gets exhausting being the one who makes the jokes/entertains the crowd and it’s good to wind down sometimes. from the main cast , he was the oldest so he had to sacrifice some of his introversion and break out off his shell in order to ease the atmosphere. It’s amazing honestly, props to him !
@@JeanetHenning In Chinese, a wife can call her husband "老公”(lǎo gōng). Gong Jun's Gōng(龚) is another word for a sure name. They have the same pronunciation but in different writing. If you call somebody "lǎo+sure name", it means you have a good and close relationship. Because they are in a good relationship, so sometimes ZZH addresses GJ as 老龚(lǎo Gōng). So if only in listening, there is no difference between 老公（husband）and 老龚(lǎo Gōng) 😂

You can definitely tell they became great friends after shooting Word of Honor and now I'm (im)patiently waiting for them to collaborate again in another drama/project. I also really like ZZH's laugh! It never fails to put a smile on my face, it's just too contagious! Thank you Bazaar for the LEWKS they're serving. Like they look so good in this photoshoot, it's unreal! And thank you for linking your reaction to the alt version of ep 27. I completely agree with what you said. I'm glad they decided to reshoot this scene because I definitely think they were more in character in the aired version? But I still wish they preserved the emotions and tenderness the unaired version gave us... WKX's tears really sold the scene for me! And I think the head rest worked quite well after YBY left - it really looked like ZZS has accepted and was prepared to die with him. But hey ho we got the adlib of ZZS teasing WKX in the final version so I count that as a win!
True, it really was good to be able to at least see the different versions and to know they exist. Also yes Bazaar does the best Photo shoots ever where BL is concerned.

I feel like indignation & determination are more fitting for both WKX & ZZS at that point. Neither of them will go down without a fight, even to their last breath (figuratively and literally lol). The resignation in the unaired one is a little... Off-putting? It doesn't match the general narrative of what the episode is going for. Also, the face touch in the alternative version 🥺🥺🥺 it's softer, gentler than the one in the broadcasted cut. You can feel the fondness leaking out of Zhou Zishu right there and then. (It's very close to a lover's caress; no wonder they've change it. Otherwise, it wouldn't have passed censorship.) And, no. We didn't get WKX tearing up... That would've been a nice touch, though.

Yeah definitely being extroverted like that when you're actually an introverted can be really draining so that's really admirable of him.
