They are very impressive. At the same time that these are machines of war, they are also machines of peace (deterring aggressors by having an effective defence strategy.)
--- The Thunderbirds and Blue Angels got Noth 'in on these guys !!! With the US Navy's and US Air Forces Rules and Reg's they would never allow this kind of Fantastic Performance so close to the crowd and Mountains !!! We are so Wimpy here in the U.S. !
The Swiss army basically has good safety regulations, the vast majority of accidents only happen because they are disregarded, according to my experience from my service in the army. However, I find it interesting that your US Navy and US Air Force have such drastic regulations, whereas in other areas there are hardly any (weapons laws).
It sure is, and a huge thanks to you (although my bank account doesn't like you much lol). It was your TH-cam video of Axalp 2021 - Greatest AvGeek Show on Earth that gave me the crazy idea to fly from Australia to Switzerland purely to watch this.
Wonderful show. Magnificent scenery. I am from California. Are there websites with information about details of next shows and how to get there, please. Thanks.
Thank you, this years event will be on the 17th, 18th & 19th of October (17th is a training day). I already have my flights booked... Website for info: www.vtg.admin.ch/en/organisation/kdo-op/air-force/flpl-mei/vorschau-axalp.html Around 1 month prior tickets go on sale for the bus and chair lift to get most of the way up. The actual event is free.
@@ausflyer Thank you sir. After the chair lift, Is it difficult getting to top of the Mountain for the shows? I am a city man, not experienced with mountains. But I love that shows of Patrouillе F5-E, dearly. :-)
@tructran8783 the first 1/2 mile or so after the chair lift is relatively easy, only a slight incline at most (mainly level). Keep in mind, over the 3 days, approx 10,000 people take this walk. It is marked, and boundary ropes are in place. That said, the last 1/2 mile is at an almost 45 degree incline. It is hard work, however worth it when you get to the top. A lot of people start the journey before the Sun comes up and have a relaxed day up top. In reference to being a city man, I am built for comfort, not speed or climbing... but I managed to make it, and am going back. Up top you have bathrooms, cold and hot food, drinks, alcohol, and the prices are not bad considering the location. Word of warning, the descent down at the end of the display is the hardest part. A good set of hiking boots (with ankle support) and hiking poles (which I didn't have last year, but will be getting before this next visit). There are Swiss Military personnel at various locations on the trek, in case assistance is required. Well worth it.
Thank you. As this was my first time filming such an event I wasn't sure if 60p might have been overkill, also keeping in mind the display went for almost 2 hours, so file size was another factor. Next time I will play around with different settings.
I Was there it was a amazing show😂😂
It certainly was…
Can’t wait till it is back in the Alps next year (2025)
Very cool! 😍
Thank you
That superpuma driver has some Balls.
You MAD FELLA!
I am personally VERY far from promoting wars and violence, but these machines are IMPRESSIVE.

USA are the promoters of peace number 1 , USA sell peace machines from F18 to Tomahawk cruise missiles
By having powerfull military we can avoid war by telling other u bend down and suck my .... or we go to war

Ramstein may be an argument for these strict regulations.
The Flair run looks really cool! Some amazing footage!
They did not hold back with the counter measures (flares)... Cant wait to go back this October
Such an incredible vantage point to see something like this. Super jealous!
It was an amazing event... not the easiest to get to, but well worth it.
Wildgärst is a cool spot to have the planes 30 meters inverted above you!

Mega Show My Respekt to you.
Thank you
Great video ! What camera are you using ?
All filmed on an iPhone 14 Pro Max (No Filters or Lenses used).
I'm not sure that will be possible with their new F-35s. ;) finally .... if they arrive one day hahaha
The couple of F-35A's (from Italy) that appear in my other Axalp video did some good runs.
Very nice, should have filmed at 60p though.

I imagine a foreign aggressor coming on a foggy day...to steal the gold hidden in bunkers in the mountains.
Swiss Air Force 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
