So incredibly adorable! Some of their features remind me of sugar gliders: I had a friend who owned a pair, and they were the strangest yet sweetest little things.
BTW: before anyone makes a fuss... she owned a few exotic pets, but she was obsessively vigilant about buying them from breeders raising them in humane conditions, took incredible care of them, and could afford any treatment they required... And she did the same for her non-exotic pets! When one of her cats experienced a serious hip problem she took him to an emergency veterinary clinic where they recommended medication to temporarily ease pain until she was ready to put the cat down (which they also said should be done "shortly"), simply because the surgery was so expensive... she paid for the pain medication so her cat wouldn't suffer, told the vet off, and took the cat to her regular vet (where she was working as an intern) the next morning. She had the fuzzball booked for total hip replacement within a few days, and he recovered well and went on to live happily for many years.
This was after she completed her undergrad degree in biology... she earned her DVM four years later.
I realize there's _a lot_ of valid criticism about owning exotic pets. The exotic pet trade can be horrific, and many people buy exotic pets on a whim without the knowledge or means to care for them. Fortunately, she wasn't one of those people 💜
