Nature is a production of THIRTEEN for PBS. Throughout its history, Nature has brought the natural world to millions of viewers. The PBS series has been consistently among the most-watched primetime series on public television.
-----------------
The Southern Lesser Galago, also known as a Bushbaby, is perfectly adapted to hunt insects at night. Their tiny bodies are offset by their large, saucer-like eyes, and they will wash their feet and hands in their own urine to make them stickier and help in climbing trees.

I was just saying how cute they were and then he says "They urinate on their hands for that extra stickiness". 🤢
Leticia Combs little furry cute bastards 😂
You mean the insect thing
In case you're unaware, this is the same busboy species that are kept as exotic pets on rare occasions. They're not endangered and so far there seem to be no evidence of any poaching or capture for the pet trade, but like other primates they aren't appropriate pets (though unlike slow lorises they don't straight-up die in human care)
Slow lorises can live with apropriate human care (and full teeth). I've seen a japanse guy on insta who hosts a couple in his house and they got a baby.
It just requires lot of patience, space and knowledge, which most people doesn't have.
Thanks, PBS Nature 👍
'River of dreams' a beautifully produced film
Yes!👍
They urinate on their hands, the same hands that they’re eating with.

It's a good spice
They look like a combination of a bat/mice, a cat, and a monkey!! Weird looking little critters with huge eyes 👀!! Really cute tho!!😚😚😚

I like how you spelled Cheese with a capital 'C'. It is indeed divine.
Natural video refresh minds
Apparently, this is the most common primate after humans - an estimated 100 million in the wild!
It's incredibly cute.. until it grabs hold of your thumb. Take it from a zookeeper.
Do they bite or get their sticky stinky pee on your thumb/hand?

Anyone know the ending song?
I already see pet cats and dogs as "little people." If one of these were in my home I'd probably think it's just another human.
What is the song in your outro? That catches me every time
My mom just said it’s a monster
It's a prosimian, not an ape.
