The reason is " because banks can't make their 3-6% on transfers " ?? I can't find an account that does not have a monthly fee ( with ' exceptions ' if you have $$$ staying in there per month ), they do Mortgages and Visa/Mastercard credit those are at 18+% ( If you did that kind of lending, it is against the law ). The only ' reason ' for watching out for any Virtual Coin is the transactions are ONE WAY with proof. You have to trust that there is an item ( nft/whatever you are buying ) being sent after payment. There is no crypto that can ' reverse payment due to bad sellers ' so trust is an issue.

What bank charge you 3-6% fee for transfer?
Oh, okay. If I put %5,000 into a bank right now they will call the police before asking me how did I accumulate the funds and can I prove it. And if I take out $10,000 now they want to be damn rude as if it's their money. Now they watching where and how I spend my thousands. But if $30, 000 go missing they do everything in their will to say the faults on me and the money is not insured. I must pay insurance to keep my money safe and up to a limit and be on good terms with bank so explain why should we care of banks losing money? During the 2008 stock market crash did you know the bank CEO and other higher ups walked away with millions while leaving zip for the citizens that trusted those thieves to safe lock their money? A lot of millions.
