@@JustinPetersMin Thank you for your response Justin. I am in a wonderful and glorious relationship with Jesus now. I found a wonderful church close to me that teaches from the Bible only and is a worship church. The Pastor went to school with my late son. I have never felt so great in my life and it has to do with nothing from this world. 🥰 If you wouldn’t mind, I would ask you to pray for my grown sons to find their way into a relationship with Jesus!

Just saying God's Word out loud made him crumble under the Father's Love for the whole congregation. Justin did well to restrain his urge to burst out weeping... great man of God to show raw love, and never holding back and staying as humble as possible. Holy Spirit strength. Bless you sir.

What an amazing, amazing sermon, SO refreshing. I still struggle with election, i have for a long time. I see how, like you said, both are taught, but I can't come to grips with what that means for God. The other hand of the coins seems to say that God made Satan, knowing that he would sin, knowing that he would tempt Adam and Eve, knowing they would sin, and now selects only a relatively few of his creation to be saved from sin and hell, for the praise of his grace and glory. I'm trying to genuinely understand the doctrine, and it seems so counter intuitive. I know God is just and holy and set apart, but I also know his characteristics are love and mercy and loving-kindness and grace. I don't understand how these could both be true, the doctrine of election and his aforementioned attributes. In my limited perspective, it seems that a better way to gain the rightful praise for His glory and grace would be to have never created Satan, never allowed Adam and Eve to be tempted. That would have gained Him praise from all man kind, not just the ones he chose to save from sin and hell. Please believe, I'm not arguing, i'm just trying to think this through. The ones who are saved will surely praise Him, but the ones in Hell won't, which according to the bible are the majority of people. It seems like a dichotomy.

Myown Todo if you feel let down its because you've let yourself down, the moment you live with gratitude towards God for the gift of being alive then you won't even hint at God being the cause of any disappointment you may be feeling, understand the order of creation, our place in it, what we are, (our sinful state) and what we may become the moment that we stop expecting something from someone for some reason but instead start doing something for nothing for the right reasons and without expecting anything in return. Remember nobody is too lost to be found, condemned to be saved or unable to understand the book you hint at mocking the truth of the reality of the existence of its author and the might of His power.
Be of good cheer, seek out the wisdom to apply logic to your fleshy convictions, take heed that no-one deceives you and lastly remember and take note, careful note of the following.... "The truth has become the new hate speech', thus seek the truth, speak the truth, believe the truth and love the truth, remember the consequence though, you'll be hated because of it, you'll be accused by the willfully ignorant of hate speech and called a bigot, a liar and a hating racist!!! And hey.. that's ok, let them do the hating, let them hate the truth and all those who speak it.
P.s. don't you be them, those the sad, the hateful, the lost, the weary... You just be a nobody who stands for the truth, the right, the just and the wise.

Justin. Isn't Romans 9 talking about the nation of Israel as a whole? Paul was not talking about individuals. A reference text for this would be Jeremiah 18. The Lord spoke "concerning a nation", not a individual. Yes, as far as God is concerned, everyone who comes to salvation was "elected and predestined" by God for salvation. God is omniscient, therefore in His view, everything is indeed predetermined and foreknown. But as far as we are concerned, anyone can come to the saving knowledge of our Lord. The Lord commands everyone to repent, not only those who are predetermined for salvation. If I am misunderstanding something here, let me know. Thank you and God bless you, Justin.

If we HAVE TO DO IT then IT WAS NOT FINISHED ON THE CROSS. It's simple.

@@davidrhenley David yes, Jesus and the Apostles told us what we must do. No, it wasnt finished on the cross, God's cup of wrath was finished being poured out was finished. The New Testament of Jesus Christ for salvation, was not finished until the resurrection.
      ( Hebrews 9:14-17
"How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth."
I pray people will humble themselves, stop following doctrines of man, and follow what the Apostles taught to do to be saved,
      Hear-Romans 10:17, Acts 18:8, Acts 19:5, Acts 28:28, Matthew 11:15.
      Believe-John 5:24, Mark 16:16, Acts 16:31-33, Acts 18:8.
      Confess-1John 4:15, Romans 10:9-10, Acts 8:35-38.
      Repent-Luke 13:3, Acts 2:38, Acts 3:19, Matthew 9:13.
      Baptized-Mark 16:16, Acts 2:38, Acts 8:5-13, Acts 8:35-38, Acts 9:17-19, Acts 10:47-48, Acts 16:13-15, Acts 16:31-33, Acts 18:8, Acts 19:5, Acts 22:16, Matthew 28:19, John 3:5.
Then God adds you into the Church-Acts 2:41, Acts 2:47, Colossians 2:12, Galatians 3:27, Romans 6:3-11.
Study the Scriptures daily- 2 Timothy 2:15.
Endure to the end- Matthew 24:13

To say that we cannot bind Satan or rebuke him or cast him out, only Jesus can, is just not Biblical. Jesus has given us, His Word, His Name, His Shed Blood, the Holy Spirit, and the Authority to use them. (Matthew @; Mark @; Luke @; Revelation @) He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and a sound mind. (2Timothy 1:7) If we do so in the Name of Jesus. There is no other name higher than the name of Jesus!

It is God who gives the strength for every Christian to be able to deal with sin in his own life. You do that by aslking God for his Grace to do so, by the Spirit. We don't need to go around 'binding satan' and such things. Christ has already bound him, the greatest problem is the failure of professing believers to deal with their sins seriously and sincerely. The binding of satan is often a veiled excuse for not dealing with our sins in the Biblical way.

Myown Todo; I read your comment above, the ensuing response, and this comment. Admittedly, I don't know what you're referring to, but whatever you've prayed about, beit spiritual direction, health issues, relationships, or literally all one could ask of the Lord, and now you feel let down because of a bad result. Sir, I'm comfortable saying that every true Christian has also had the same experience regarding the Lords answer to their prayers.
Truth be told [b/c we are sinful], most would desire an answer now, and have it answered just like we prayed it to begin with b/c we know exactly what we want [meaning we know whats best]. Sir if I'm way off base I beg your forgiveness...if not, please consider Paul, who prayed 3 times for the Lord to remove the "thorn" from his flesh. Understand that the word "thorn" isn't even a good rendering of the Greek; its more like a "stake" to Paul, so rest assured that Paul thought that he knew what was best for him and his situation right? I'm sure Paul thought he could minister more effectively to the lost w/o the issue he was dealing with [2 Corinthians 12:7-9]. Though God answered Paul, it was not in a way that a sinful mans mind can understand: no..."My grace is sufficient for you." If Paul even cares to know now, I'm sure hes amazed at ALL of the reasons why God said "no" Paul. Anyway, I'm sorry for the length of this, and I do want to try to encourage you in some way. The only way to do that is with the truth. Please consider visiting this site: www.gty.org/ Once there, enter "prayer" into the "search bar" and navigate through the messages which are replete with truth on how people are to deal with the issues of prayer now, and especially, how Gods Word shows us this has been being done since the first prayer was uttered. Theres no better place than Gods Word to find help, for it is profitable for teaching, reproof, correction, and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. [2 Tim 3:1-17]. I "pray" this is helpful...God Bless.
