From my french perspective, the question is simple. A large majority of parliamentarians think this budget is not good for French people, they suggested some alternatives but the prime minister declined most of them, despites some concessions. The thing is you cannot forced them to vote for a budget they dont believe in, here is the current situation. In France, the prime minister can force a law without the agreement of the parlement and that's what is happening right now, and the only way to stop it is by asking the resignation of the gouvernement; I'm sure they dont want this but legally speaking there is no other way in French constitution.
today's political divide is less between left and right. more between elitists and populist. both left and right consider themselves anti establishment parties.

Cannot forced? Don’t you know Modal verbs are followed by the bare infinitive verb?
Any danger of having someone from RN on the panel to make it fair and balanced? Probably too much to ask from the media these days 😞
Excellent debate. The Left in the UK is a Nightmare, but in France it's much worse. Help !!!

The left and right might both be anti-establishment, but they have very different political agendas.

I’ve never believed in Brexit till I watched this.
Britain needs a deal with the US. Europe is done. Europe could have done a deal with Cameron, but didn’t. He wanted a deal.
Can France can maybe get financial assistance from Greece?

Hey Elon Musk, can you send some money down to national rally. France would be very appreciate of it.
Maybe we should ask him to come and balance the budget instead?
@ maybe the liberals and Macron’s party can actually give the right side of politics a fair deal and then boom you got the budget through.
