I suppose this is a lot to ask, but is there by some chance written instructions for this? I would classify myself as an senior crochetter at 82 years of age. Over the past 18 years if my life I have nade several tablecloths that were a combination of round-by-round, individual motifs, and one that was fillet crochet. Some were worked with written instruction and some by reading diagrams. I have never ever come across this motif style where joining is done as the project progresses. This will also be a tablecloth which I want to make for my 85 year old sister. Hope we both live long enough to see the project completed.
I think there's a mistake in your verbal instructions. I'm making this now and if you start with ch18 for the third row, then there's only 4 chains between rows 2 & 3 instead of 8 as there should be for the corner. In the first row you finished the corner (ch4+1tbr) before chaining 18, but since you don't do that for row 2 (until the very end) you need to chain 22 again for it to add up
I love the videos where you speak. I watch on my phone and listen as I attemp to try. I have to go to bed, but I will definitely watch this tomorrow!

@@chantalhenderson6994oh then I’m not going to start. I just had the same kind of experience on another channel.
@@Nancy-sv8wp If you watch the entire video (without skipping parts), you will see that all the instructions are there.
