I saw them live last year, i was standing in 1st row in front of scene. The energy and stage presence of this guys is out of this world. Their are perfofming live so much better than in studio albums imo. And Papa talking about bees and flowers... amazing band
This is an older reaction? Pretty cool. They were about to go directly into the the next song when they cut it off. Ritual is their first baddest jam, on their debut album like this song.
Another song actually followed this one after the cut. This song is called Per Aspera Ad Inferi. Its from another album but they put these two songs as one so thats why this video is cut so horribly. Shame you didnt react to both of them in one video. :D
I'm a huge Ghost fan, and I love most of their songs, but as someone who is fairly new to Ghost (you), I wouldn't have recommended this one. It's kind of dull and monotonous. If you want to hear a more dynamic and exciting Ghost song from their early days, then Ritual or Elizabeth are the best. From their newest stuff, Mummy Dust is their heaviest song ever, Absolution, Year Zero and Faith are really good too. Square Hammer is super catchy as well.
Also Cirice with an official video and the fact that it won a Metal Grammy as a qualifier. Not sure if he already reacted to that one though.. would have to check his past reactions to know for sure.
I do think the VIBE of this one is a good choice to show someone the idea this band’s stage show is going for, but sonically it’s not the first song i’d show someone. It’s something that someone who is already familiar would love for sure.
