Dear class 12 students, The postponement of the board exams has given you some time to reflect. Think before you choose MBBS/BHMS/BAMS/BUMS. Five and a half years of MBBS+2 years of compulsory bond - 3 years of MD/MS +2 years of compulsory bond 3 years of DM/Mch-1 year of compulsory bond[for allopathy]. You will waste the best time of your life toiling. You will sacrifice your hobbies, peace of mind, sleep, standard of living(most hostels in government medical colleges are not worth staying for even a single day) and most importantly your youth and believe me, it's not worth it. Once you are out in the field people will call you egoistic if you don't answer their whatsapp queries at two in the night, greedy if you charge a fees to attend to them(so much so that you'll be scared to even get basic investigations done for patients because then they'll accuse you of taking a cut) and quack if you refer them to another specialist because their ailment did not concern your speciality. Remember - If the patient survives it's *God* who has saved him and if he dies it's *you* who has killed him.
For all the doctors and frontline warriors we salute your service for the survival of the mankind. Thank you is really small word. But thank you all for your selfless service.
