- Welcome to the 2023 Trinidad Christmas Houses video. Hopefully you can get some Christmas outdoor light decoration ideas for your house from this video as we showcase Christmas decorated houses from around Trinidad. In this video I have tried to show houses that have been decorated with Christmas lights and other Christmas decorations in different parts of Trinidad that I have not featured before as well as homes that have been featured before but decorated differently for 2023. I have also added some public spaces like malls that were beautifully decorated for Christmas, as well as shown the Christmas decorations in the interior of some homes. It is all part of Christmas in Trinidad and Tobago.

I did not know that it was your house. I am glad you told me about it because I only know Patna for Divali and in fact came to see the deyas and figurines. Yes it is hard to travel around at night.

Beautiful love the video, but I am not seeing houses in Tunapuna, St Joseph and all the way to Arima .
Correct I did not reach far far this year. Hopefully next year when I invite people t send me videos of their homes I will get some from those areas.
The best part was Christmas in the States. This person is crazy about Christmas like I do. The decorator of the Christmas Dickens Village is awesome. I’m sorry I did not get to see the Christmas tree was it decorated with Mark Roberts, Katherine, Ditz Designs, MacKenzie Child, snow babies etc. it must of took them an awful long time to design the Dickens Village. You should tell them to put the inside on TH-cam. It would have looked better with hardwood floors instead of the tiles. That strange nobody in North America has tiles in their homes. Looks really good. I mean the instead of the home. Tell them to stop giving the Trinidad Government a free electric bill for Christmas. The cords are hanging all over. Too many make believed fireplaces.

WOW!!! I am so impressed with those beautiful homes. I thought with the increase in T&Tech's bill people would have cut back, but I am so happy they did not because they added to the season. Your home was tastefully done, how long did it take to complete?😊
The increased electricity cost will not take effect until 2024 and at present the exact amount of the increase has not been finalized as Cabinet has to decide if they will reduce the amounts recommended by the RIC. I had spread the work at my home over about 3 weeks, doing a little on each afternoon.

As beautiful as they are, I would advise using discretion by blurring out addresses and car number plates.
I have sought to use discretion this year. In the past I would put both the general area and the street name but this year I only gave the area of Trinidad and no street names.

Imagine the food these lights and the cost of electricty this would buy for people who have little on nothing to eat. Am not saying no lights or decorations but they could be toned down and the surplus money used to help someone.
I do not know all the people whose houses I film but over time I learn a little bit about some of them. Unfortunately sometimes only when they die. But I learn that at least some of them quietly do a lot to assist the less fortunate.
People work hard for what they got. Trinidad is not a communists country. So if others refuse to take advantage of opportunities, we'll that is on them. The rest of us productive people will continue to prosper and have a very merry Christmas 🎅 🎄 Now go play In traffic.
Where the Tobago houses
There are no Tobago houses hence the reason the video is titled Trinidad Christmas Houses. For me to include Tobago Christmas Houses would require me to travel to Tobago and rent a place for at least 3 days to be able to travel around Tobago at night which is not feasible in the time frame for this video. Next year I am allowing people to send me their videos for inclusion in the overall video. Hopefully some people in Tobago will send me videos for inclusion.

Above all music that is wat u can find to play for viewers??? Christmas looking decorated houses and not the appropriate music!! Ur videos generally has good content, but this music ent cutting it correct!! It's Christmas month!!!!
I took a slightly different approach to the music this year. In the video there are the more traditional Christmas music like We Wish you a Merry Christmas, Oh Christmas Tree, Oh come all ye Faithful, Joy to the World and Jingle Bells. I however also mixed in other music as I wanted the video to have a soothing tone this year. I am glad to hear that you find that my videos generally have good content.
