Had Launcbhox full for about a year now, believe it or not I learned a ton from this video about badges and how storefronts had options to show uninstalled games. Great video!
Thank you very much for this tutorial, but I have a question: what phrase should I add and where, so that when I turn off the game, the launcher of Steam, Gog, etc. also turns off? I understand that it is not possible to set a given launcher to turn off only when I leave a given playlist, or to make the launchers turn off after leaving the Windows platform, etc.?
Right now, we only have official integrations for the storefront listed in the video. That said, assuming Lancommander allows games to be launched via the command line (similar to Steam), then there's no reason that games can't be added to LaunchBox and opened through that launcher
Something that's really annoying is that aside from Steam, none of the other storefront clients can be properly used with a gamepad. The Xbox app kind of works but it's very finnicky and the gamepad "cursor" often gets stuck. This often puts me off from using those stores at all.
Hopefully using LaunchBox as the frontend negates the need to navigate each individual storefront at all, since all the navigation is done within LaunchBox which can be used with a controller. Curious to know if there are specific workflows you need from each storefront that you would prefer to do with a controller. Let us know if there's something we're missing 😊
@@UnbrokenSoftwareLLC I use my gaming PC mostly like a gaming console, sitting under the TV in the living room. I mainly use the gamepad, while the keyboard & mouse sit in a cabinet somewhere only to be used if absolutely necessary. BigBox is the main interface, but I often launch Steam Big Picture from it and navigate through the store. I use the gamepad to browse through the gaming store, watch trailers, add things to a whishlist, buy and install games. I have also set up Launchbox entries for the apps Xbox, GOG Galaxy, Amazon Games, Epic Games, but it's not a seamless transition to these as they don't have gamepad friendly interfaces.
Is there a way to import all the “other” pc games that you may have installed into a single folder on your hard drive? You know the Jimmy Crack Corn Games LOL

Just keep it going. Unified all the way!
Steam says my account does not meet the requirements for an API key and that I need an mobile account authenticator or something
Can this be used with Lancommander? It's a self hosted game installer

i think if you add the .exes to steam as "non-steam games" they will show up.

No Linux? Wtf?
