This helped me get more use out of this ruixin 009. The knife IS sharper than when I started but not as sharp as you got your knife but I probably only put forth about 70% of the effort. This way is better than the supplied instructions which say to make 15 passes each side. Maybe I didnt push hard enough but im almost certain it made the blade duller than it was haha, so thanks, this at least works.

I'm often curious what kinid of knive [who produced it, which kind of steel it is (stainless stell or carbon), what type stal (for an example ABE-L, Becut, damsteel, D2, Sandvik or which other) because it looks very easily when you sharpen but i have theese chineese sharpener and it is not so easy (espiecially with loosing screws and the angle that is not the same after flipping the side of the knife. I'n my there is difference between sided around 0.5, while in my friends there were 1.5 to even 3.0..)...

Can I use this sharpener on a knife that is 7mm thick? Also, what kind of stones this sharpener comes with and do they last pretty long before you have to replace them? I think so, but there is not a big difference, that is, it is preferable to use the standard 150 mm.
What stone grit did you use and start with ?
120Grit
when you change the stone, raise the angle a little

I saw one of these but my ruixin rx-008 angle is very uneven and idk how to fix it to be equal on each side
I've seen some videos where people added some washers.
I'm really curious if this updated product have the same problem or it's solved?!
