My favorite thing about this dungeon is that this was the first dungeon i did without looking up a guide, my friends and i managed to learn the mechanics ourselves. having that said, this dungeon has a special place in my heart

Same bro. I didn't wanna get spoilers about the dungeon so I avoided any guides because I wanted to see the entire thing in the game myself. Unfortunately all of my friends are hardly ever online so I had to do it with LFG but they were pretty chill throughout the entire thing. Except for the prison part that took us almost an hour.
I too share this. Hard part was the end where you punch the dudes. Only was able to work it out coz my mate was a Titan punching them and randomly didn’t die to that damn timer
in my 1st, 4th and 5th run with Hunter I always played Celestial with Izanagi (2 kinetic surges) and a Rocket (without ghorn) with Epochal Integration (sunshot is very strong there, but with Celestial you want precision kill oc)
This meant I had an ult in every dmg phase, i.e. on all 3 levels each time
On my first completion on Day1 I ended up with 7.3 million at the end
What a fantastic fun dungeon! We managed to clear it first evening without looking at any hints or guides - overthought and got stuck in the jail too long, but a great evening. Agree with Briar's contempt and sunshot recommendations. I was running that with a nox perennial on a phoenix protocol warlock to good effect :)

I love this dungeon!, honestly the only annoyance I have with it, is punching the Glowey Joeys on the 3rd encounter
I've been using a pure fusion build for this encounter. Scatter Shot, Vex Mythoclass and Taipan(I don't have other the other linears). Along with Rain of Fire, Vex in linear mode deals about 115k per shot on the boss.
Highly recommend Ticuu's Divination if you're using an exotic primary

so ran this a few times with my solar bonk titan with the war rig and was using the retrofit with enhanced fourth time/target lock and was doing like 5.6 mill each time

The Warlord's Ruin final boss is easy mode on a hunter. I did like 9.8m with a hunter using malfeasance with lucky pants lol.

Did it with two hunters with nighthawk and a orpheus, 5:53 best complete
I little tips when you are at the top against the boss and the mechanic of eye reverse you can use the void hunter arrow (with Orpheus) to litteraly break the mechanic cause the hunter arrow will destroy every eye that pop and you will have 3 super for the 3 platform

@@alaskayoung3413 using the ult break automatically the eye, give you back super energy for everyone eye you broke, its during longer and you dont have to shoot on the eye so you gain dps and it apply a debuff. And to respond your original question if i remember correctly if the boss Spawn 5 or 6 eye AT the same spot it stop de dps and go to the next plateforme so by using the ult as long as the boss dont make 6 eye Spawn at the same time it will not move normally so you can dps as long as your ult is active

If you don’t have a briars you can also use doomed petitioner with recon/precision instrument

Decent guide with some decent recommends, save one. For LFR, you mention BaS on Cataclysmic having the higher damage perk, not enhanced, then you talk about focus fury on Briars Contempt. Focus fury is an inferior trait when it comes to damage. If a person can craft Briars Contempt, enhanced surrounded is the way to go, remember Bungie merged the surrounded spec with surrounded, which gives enhanced surrounded the edge even over enhanced BaS. If the team is spawn heavy ammo, then Briars is the way to go, if not Cataclysmic can be more ammo efficient.
If the team is working collaboratively, the well-lock can have a well at every level, which removes any of the danger of being surrounded by the psions.
sucks when recommended weapons are all just raid exclusives and some of us, still have not gotten a chance to even earn them with the fire team finder launch
Pro tip with bait and switch weapons. Run a primary with SLICE on it. That way you give the boss a 40% damage debuff to you while you’re damaging so that you take less damage.

I'm gonna try running tyranny of heaven with dragonfly and incandescent, with rays of precision it should be a sunshot that doesn't block your view

3 lmg with target lock will have plenty of ammo and 1 phase every single time

It sucks watching team comps and knowing damn well as a titan i got jack shit of a place here cause I have no ranged one off damage super, or decent support super. Cant fucking wait for these void axes, even if they do suck for boss damage.

What do you recommend as the exotic heavy then? Because I am already hitting for 9mill per run with malfeasence + Auto loading explosive light rocket

@@SMGeezusme too. Apex with bait and switch and reconstruction. For special I ran deliverance surrounded and an Amit with incandescent with sol invictus.
