She spent five months trashing him on social media with a fictional book. She was targeting his main advantage, i.e., the 1D fanbase. She ridiculed him, encouraged others to ridicule him, said he didn't get along with the other 1D boys, said Zayn pushed him against a wall. She wanted to isolate him from the boys and alienate him from the 1D fandom.
Once his reputation was in shambles, she sued him. At that point, both his label and PR team dropped him, likely because of the success of the defamation campaign. He couldn't handle these blows together.
Imagine being in Liam's position. Record label gone, faced with global hate on social media, dealing with an expensive public lawsuit against a woman with a legal army behind her, with his own team having dropped him.
How was he supposed to deal with all of that, particularly with his declining mental health over the last year? Was there any hope of him recovering his life and career after this mess?
It is terrifying to imagine how cornered he must have felt in the last days of his life. I completely understand why he felt pushed towards that balcony.
On every picture with Liam she appears extremely happy and yet she wrote a book…. Ermmmm clearly about Liam and her, and disregarded his beginnings ti not release the book also his friends asked her not to and they were specific to why she shouldn’t release the book… her excuses of thinking he was manipulating her are empty because she stated his friends were also manipulating her into not releasing the book! They did what they were supposed to which was to immediately alert the police, Their training is in customer services and not mental health difficulties combined with alcohol and substance abuse. Liam's death is very sad but it's unfair to blame the hotel....

He was obsessed with Maya. He cheated on her and abused her. Then he harassed her and her mom because she left him. She had to get a restraining order last week. He’s not the saint they say he is.

Knowing the full story, using Amber Heard to make your point is wild, because it only further draws out how unlikely it is that she ISN’T backed by bulletproof verified evidence of what she’s said 😂 After the Amber Heard case, where she didn’t even explicitly mention him or claim he did anything (only implicitly suggesting that she witnessed how powerful people were protected, even when they were abusers) in one magazine article, much less accuse him of explicitly doing many things, no publisher, let alone a book publisher, would ever take that risk without concrete, verifiable proof after the Amber Heard case. They would need undeniable evidence to avoid the legal risks involved, especially considering the high-profile nature of that trial and the subsequent public reaction. Using her as an example only weakens your argument, because publishers are now more cautious than ever.

It's unlikely that whatever occurred was not an isolated incident and not exclusive to the one evening or location and the fact his current girlfriend had left the country just a short time prior was it because of the behavior was trending towards chaos and possibilities for disaster because of previous occasions and the history of addiction past discretions and tendencies sent her packing we'll never know because it's personal and not our business but if so it's likely he was in need of help from people who are close and trustworthy not strangers or fans who pretend to be long awaited friends! To speculate the situation was recognized as suggested and it was as volatile and urgent as it has been reported in Argentina then he should never had been left alone and family or friends should have been notified and been present before the girlfriend or whoever was there had left him in that alleged state of mind instead of the strangers in a strange land in a hotel that is not a home and besides being under the influence alleged the friendly strangers who don't know him or his history of addiction and destruction don't even speak same language as he was not in a familiar environment he was in their home in a very bad way it seems
