You can improve the performance even further by setting the "Background process limit" to 4 in developer settings. That helped massively on my Nokia 5.3
@Bananacop210avoid any Nokia devices, these days , Oppo, Vivo, Samsung offers more than that and besides nostalgia, Nokia doesn't offer anything serious. Buy a blackview A52 instead, infinitely cheaper, same sc9863a1 chipset, same android 12 go edition, better screen quality with saturated colors but you get a USB C port instead of the dreaded micro USB that Nokia offers.

I hope HMD will find the way to portray Nokia as a good brand for the future, not as the shadow of former past
For what it is this phone is pretty good. As you said, maybe for younger/first time or older consumers this is just the right entry device. Or maybe as a secondary travel device if you don't want to risk your more expensive daily driver when abroad. Or it can be a really good alternative for someone on a very tight budget who doesn't want a feature or "dumb" phone only but a basic phone with some smartphone capabilities. There seems to be somekind of negative fixation and derision of phone like these. For many this is a good option to have.

i dont agree with that older people and kids need at least a mid range phone these entry phones is aimed for low budget consumers but also i would not recomend this phone theres other better options in the same price that comes with better hardware if this phone comes wih processor from mediatek or qualcom i would recomended it

My grandmother is 85+ years old and she didn't get a great education and this phone would be perfect for her .. easy to use and would be cheap that it's ok if she forgot or lost it.

I hope Nokia will extend the years for the software updates support like eight years because smartphones are not cheap. If Nokia will do it, everyone will have Nokia phones again. The other downside is that Android software is glitchy and slow.

I have a secondary phone a Realme C30 2/32gb Android Go with T612 fast and smooth no need to download lite version of apps. Faster than phones on 150 usd price range with Helio G35 or P35 and as good as phones with Helio G70/G80. Used to have Nokia 1 and Nokia 2.1 as 2nd phones too. Missing only the FM Radio on Realme.

Looking at C31 website, it runs on regular Android and seeing it comes with GCam instead of Camera Go seems to prove it Also mind dumping that GCam and put it in your nokiamob article? If it works well with other phones, that would be neat seeing GCam ports from Pixel is hit or miss
