I have owned my small puzzle bag for about 3 years and it is definitely one of my favorite bags. I do not find it hard to get in and out of at all. I love the different carrying options, top handle, crossbody, etc. I do not like the Edge at all. I can’t help but feel that as a brand under LVMH they are cutting corners to make the most money they can. It disappoints me because they want to make this bag for less money but charge the same to the customer as the original puzzle. That’s a big turnoff to me and it makes me feel like I’d rather spend my money elsewhere. I’ve been wanting a mini puzzle for awhile but not sure I will buy one. I also have the Anagram tote and a straw tote. I think I preferred the brand when they were a bit more under the radar.
@@niononion4363True, but previously they had a blind stamped anagram for a logo which was barely noticeable and now they have ‘LOEWE’ plastered across the front on so many of their new bags.
I own the Loewe Puzzle in medium for 4-5 years now and I still love it. Really easy to wear and matches pretty much everything. Pockets are actually easy to handle one handed, but anywho. The new Puzzle Edge makes me feel like with Celine without the é
So I’m biased because I own 8 puzzle bags, so clearly I’m a fan. The small size is the MVP and easy to get in and out of IMO. The mini is a bit of a challenge - I treat it like a WOC. The medium is too big for everyday use but good for travel. They wear in and slouch. So you have to like that look. Re: the change to the Edge I firmly believe that’s a cost cutting measure and I’m not a fan. That said Loewe themselves have responded to questions on their IG post about the original puzzle being discontinued saying the original will remain in the collection but only with the guitar strap (sigh) and the Edge will have a leather strap. It’s a weird half step and to me is a bit mind boggling to pair a cheaper looking strap with the harder to craft bag. But it seems the original may stick around a bit longer (or at least until the guitar strap trend passes).
Wow 8!? Thanks for sharing your experiences with the different sizes! I’m sure it’ll be helpful to others here. I totally agree about your “half step” comment. Not a smart move by the brand. 👎
Yes, I have 4 of them in different colorways & sizes and I love them all. So versatile and I like the artsy aesthetic of the puzzle pieces. I also love that I never see them carried here in Arizona! 😊
Love, love, love my small puzzle bag 🥰 The back pocket is quite practical for metro-card for example. Loved wearing it in Paris all the time. All the thinks, nicely secure. Getting stuff in and out isn’t an issue at all in my opinion (was wondering before having it).
I’ve owned my small Puzzle bag in the color tan for 3 years and I love it. The leather quality is amazing, and I’ve heard the brand uses the same leather tannery as Hermes. The bag is impeccably made in terms of stitching, glazing, quality of hardware. I love the flap that hides the zipper, it’s unique. Love the top handle and the leather strap as it makes it versatile and easy to grab and go. It’s not difficult for me to get into. I have a bag shaper in mine so it doesn’t get too slouchy. I like that there are no loud logos. My bag has held up and still looks new. I’m a bit sad that they are phasing out the original Puzzle although I don’t know much about the Edge version.
I’m in agreement with you, I’ve never been attracted to the Puzzle bag. A couple of years ago I bought the straw bag you showed and have enjoyed using it in the Summer! It’s held up very well! Thank you for sharing!🥰
I love my small puzzle in the tan caramel color. Pebbled leather with gold hardware. I rarely zip it because the flap provides sufficient security. In the small size it holds its structure with just a little top slouch which I love. Also have a Loewe straw tote with the beautiful caramel leather square with the Loewe anagram that is so classy.
I’ve loved the puzzle bag since it was introduced and was pretty much below the radar. I adore my other Loewe bags and if I ever get a puzzle if will be a used old style because what has made Loewe my go to for the past 6 years is craftsmanship, interest and arty design plus the fact the branding on most is highly discrete (not everyone who likes very discrete branding is a recent adoptee of the “quiet luxury” style as a trend).
I’m glad I got a mini puzzle before they switched over to the edge. It’s my most convenient mini bag actually because it holds so much more than you think including a mini umbrella. I asked in the Beverly Hills store a couple of weeks ago if the rumors are true about discontinuing the original and moving to the edge. I was told no, they will have both but are just promoting the edge more right now. It took up the front of the store, but there was an original at the back of the store. Maybe they’re getting afraid to say it will be discontinued for fear of the backlash so are testing out how it will go over with customers right now!
I bought a small Edge last year before I even knew there was an Edge and an original. I just fell in love. It has a unique braided handle and several neutral colors that means it can go with anything in my closet. It holds everything I need to carry with room to spare. I feel like an elevated artist hippie whenever I wear it!
I love my puzzle bags. I have the larger one in black and the small one on raspberry- had them for years. Yes the back pocket is very usable- plenty of room for keys. Love to travel with it- lays flat in my carry on. I get more compliments on the leather from folks who have no idea that it is a designer bag.
Love this bag! I own two original puzzles and love everything about them. The back pocket is very functional, my phone and key cles fit in it and it was one of the buying points for me. Love that it has feet as well. I have no issues with getting my items in and out. I am not a fan of the new edge or logo strap...
The shape of this bag reminds me of a bag I have in my collection that is a Delvaux Cool Box MM in a like vanilla caramel color. I learned that many luxury houses use Hermes leather, and Delvaux is one of them. Can you do a comparison with the Loewe puzzle bag and the Delvaux Cool Box MM? I wish I had gotten it one size smaller. This Delvaux is made of Taurillon leather. Thank you. ❤
I have the original one from 2017 collection and the leather has softened up so much I cannot stop petting it. With that said, I also like the new design. But I do agree, if it is your first Puzzle, I would recommend the original. I am quite interested in the mini edge now.
I own 2 medium puzzle bags, in tan and black. I get more compliments on these bags than on any other designer bags. I’ve had the black for four years and used it regularly. It literally looks brand new. I’m not sure what these people in the photos are doing to make their bags look that slouchy and ragged! 😂Mine still have perfect structure. I probably won’t buy any Loewe now that it’s under the LVMH umbrella. I know what you mean about the piecey aesthetic but I love it in classic colors. All of my other bags are very simplistic and structured. I’m just not a huge fan of handbags with a girly aesthetic, such as the Lady Dior or the Chanel Classic Flap, so I find this a sort of classic bag with a twist, very modern. The quality of the puzzles is second to none!
I love my small puzzle bag a lot!! It looks so chic and is functional as well! The leather is so durable that you can take it out even in heavy rain. I'm using the folded phone and it fits perfectly in the back pocket. I'm now thinking about buying a medium sized one. ❤❤
I wondered why you don't have a puzzle, so thanks for this video! I appreciate your saying it doesn't look neat. I've been on the fence about this style for several years. But the line is fun to look at.
I absolutely love my small puzzle. The leather is super soft, so getting in and out of the bag is not an issue. I don't usually zip the bag unless I'm in a crowded space (because the top flap already provides security). In June, I asked a sales associate about the Sand color, and she was surprised to find that it isn't sold anywhere in the US anymore, so I'm guessing they are moving to the edge (which I like less).
I have a mini Puzzle. I’m not a mini bag person but this one can fit quite a bit, thanks to its boxy shape. The shape and size is comparable to a mini Lindy, but much easier to obtain and at 1/3 of the price. Obviously I like the design and got compliments by friends who are into arts but not into luxury. I think that’s a true compliment when not influenced by its branding and price.
Everyone has different likes Hannah. Good thing since there are so many different bags! I have the small puzzle in tan and it’s a great bag, although a tiny bit bulky. Less bulky than a speedy 25 however. Not hard to get in and out if it at all a d the leather tap over the silver does not get in the way somehow. I do not like the edge puzzle, though. I have the anagram straw small bag which is adorable. The flamenco has caught my eye, and I also love the leather anagram cutout bag. Great for summer but I’m not really a tote girl. I love all their leather but not every one of their bags is for me either.
I LOVE my small puzzle in tan. I use it nearly everyday, it holds so much and getting in and out isn’t a problem. I like that I don’t need to be too careful with it like I do with my Chanels, Pradas or Burberry. It actually wasn’t even on my list but I wandered into Loewe out of curiousity and fell in love with it.
I have a mini puzzle in the banana yellow with a tint of green tone and love. I like using it in the spring and summer for a pop of colour, but also since it’s not a bright yellow , it also looks nice in the fall
My style is more Chanel and Hermes. I originally did not like the Puzzle bag either but I saw a neutral multicolored mini in Barcelona and fell in love with it.
Good morning! I love my medium Loewe Puzzle, and it fits a ton. I use my back pocket to hold my iPhone. To me, getting in and out of the bag has the same level of difficulty as my Chanel Classic Flap. For structure, I added a bag organizer. Not a fan of the Edge or the wide straps. I feel that leather straps should accompany my leather bags. Thank you for a great video.
I have the original (the OG version), before they made it into different sizes and changed the straps to thinner one and removed the feet, cut alot of corners, now this edge version! I’m glad I got mine from preloved market few years ago, not only it’s great price and it’s so well made! I understand what you mean about the back pocket and opening, this is why I went for the OG version now they call it medium, the opening is nice and comfy and extra flap make it very secure, and thicker strap is very comfortable to wear, also the back pocket is big enough for my card holder! Still very happy about my decision to purchase it when I can 😊❤
I hesitated to buy the Puzzle classic bag because of the shape. Mistake done, bought the bag and I love it. I own many designer bags and my two favorites are Lady Dior and classic Puzzle bag. My Chanel is third favorite but too delicate for daily use. Choosing bags is very personal.
The puzzle bag didn't appeal to me when it first came out but it slowly grew on me. I finally pulled the trigger this January and purchased the small tan one and couldn't be happier. My go to on days when I don't know which bag to use. Quite disappointed about the discontinuation of the original puzzle in lieu of promoting the Edge.
I have a small puzzle and I fit a small card holder in the back pocket. I hate digging through bags for my cards! It’s also great for lip products and I like that if someone tries to pick pocket me, then my wallet isn’t where they think it is.
I really love the model and edge look and always fall in love to see it again and again. However I never buy it since I dont like the opening zipper with flap is combersome to find stuff in roomy inside. I always hopefull they reconstuct the opening zipper and come out with different more user friendly opening design.
I’ve been eyeing the puzzle bag, but I think the slouch is what has been holding me back, since I usually prefer a more structured bag. Once it slouches, it just doesn’t look as nice, IMO. The Edge seems to be more structured, but I don’t like that it lacks the puzzle look. 🤷🏾♀️
I own my puzzle bag since 5 years and it is the most unique and practical bag, so I reach for it all the time. Allthough it is in the size small, it holds a ton. It is also very secure and I don‘t have any difficulties to get access to my belongings, because the leather is very soft and the zipper works smooth and easy. Much easier than to get into my Lady Dior or the Chanel flap bag. These are really annoying because of the stiff flaps. The rear pocket I use for tickets (parking, concerts etc.) and hotel room cards, so you can grab those things in seconds. Although it is my most used handbag, it does not show any marks. Makes me sad, that it is not continued. The Edge version is not worth the money.
I own a small puzzle bag. Regarding you comment about the back pocket, I use it for my car key (which isn’t relevant to you, I know!). I like being able to lock my car as soon as I get out, and then slide the key into a designated slot, so it doesn’t get lost at the bottom of the bag. I bought a pretty structured bag organizer for it from Etsy, so mine is not very slouchy. But I think the slouchy look is cool, too.
I def wasn’t originally on the Loewe bandwagon. But now I love it. I own one in the grained, pebble leather in the color butter. It’s so dreamy. Puzzle bags in the multicolor don’t appeal to me because it seems distracting but I can certainly see the appeal. Re: the zippered outer pocket, I keep my AirPods, round small tub of Blistex lip ointment, & maybe dental floss & a pill case. That little pocket comes in so handy. This isn’t a bag that I’d like to own in multiple colors & sizes. And getting in & out can be a pain. But it’s a workhorse. I don’t baby my bags but the quality of the leather & design make it so worth it. Wouldn’t be surprised if I could pass this one down to my niece one day. Enough of a rant. Loved hearing your perspective. I’d wondered what you thought of it. 😊
I also didn’t like the puzzle bag when I 1st saw for the same reasons. However at the time it was one of few luxury bags that came with silver hardware and didn’t have screaming logos. I finally caved when I found the bag in my favorite color with a black bottom ( very practical but still colorful). Once I started to use it I fell in love. It became my every day bag since it was very easy to get in and out of, has great carry options and the back pocket would hold my phone. Since that I had to get the same bag in neutral colors. I experimented with the medium size and found it to be too heavy. But otherwise the small and mini size are great bags for me.
Thank you for your thoughts on the puzzle bag. Maybe I would have bought it when it was first introduced and less expensive. At the current price, not interested. But I like Loewe. I have the older style Flamenco bag. Buttery leather. I'm tempted by the current Flamenco in a green color.
I also think the zipper looks very cumbersome to get into. And the fact that it does not open very far either. I can appreciate it top handle but I think crossbody it looks too casual. However I do enjoy the slouch! And I like the idea that as you use it more over time it will wear in and become slouchier.
I really appreciate this review, because you said all the things I thought, but hadn’t put to words. I own the Flamenco and I really love it, but the opening on the Puzzle just looks too fussy for me. Thanks for sharing.
I love the look of the puzzle but the top is what stops me from buying. I wonder if part of the reason they are changing the puzzle construction is to help it keep the shape better over time. I chatted with the SA at my store and she said that they’ve received a lot of complaints over the years about the puzzle and the sag/structure loss. I’m currently eyeing the Amazona 23 bc I’m loving the east west right now.
In 2018 I noticed the bag around and thought...eehhh looks so boxy, so odd looking with all these pieces. I thought it looked ugly, didn't like all these pieces. Come to 2023, it has somehow grown on me. So I finally got one. And tbh. I love it. I have the small size, and the back pocket is good. It fits a card holder. So when I'm travelling, I put my hotel card in there or a metro card etc. Yes the opening is a tad fiddly to get into, but you get used to it. It's like a Dior Lady, fiddly in/out. I'm sad they are discontinuing the puzzle. It's all about profit margins, reduce leather and stitching cost...but also make the old bag a "vintage" piece and elusive piece. And keep the price up. They already had price rises recently. The resell market wasn't great in the past..but now it might change.
Ooh thank you for validating the “fiddly” opening! If it’s like the Lady Dior, as you say, then it’s a definite no for me! 😂 I get so annoyed with my Lady Dior.
I love the back pocket in the traditional small for my keys, parking chips or 💳 ( it always takes me forever to find them otherwise) and AirPods. I’m so very disappointed about the edge😢.
I absolutely adore my raspberry puzzle bag! I’ve owned it for many years and have yet to experience the top flap “ruffle” effect. I get tons of compliments every time I wear it♥
I like your thoughtfulness in choosing your bags. While this is a creatively designed bag, I don’t own one as it is more casual and not something that can transit to night/more formal events.
I have the original (which I much prefer to the Edge) in small and mini and they’re probably the most comfortable bags to wear that I own. They’re easy for me to get in and out and I particularly love how streamlined and non-fussy the top handle is unlike many other bags. The bag pocket on the small is super handy for my work ID, subway pass, credit cards, etc. And I love the quality and feel (and smell 😂) of the leather. I’ve had the small for about four years and it’s held its shape beautifully unlike those in the photos. I do store the small with an organizer but wear it without one. But of course none of this matters if you don’t like the bag aesthetically 😊
I have a puzzle small and I’ve been thinking about selling it for the longest time but can’t pull the trigger because many people seem to love it which makes me force myself to love it as well 😅 absolutely agree with you, it’s difficult to get in and out which really throws me off hence I don’t really use it as much as I should
I have a small puzzle and love it! It’s my staple bag for the fall. I like the overall design and think it’s been ok getting things in and out. It may be a bit of a struggle with bigger items that still fit given the size of opening. I also use a bag organizer which keeps the shape of the bag. agree with you that the slouchy look is not for me.
It took me about 6 months to purchase my first puzzle bag after considering what size, colour and type of leather I wanted. After much research... I went for smooth leather in tan in large and I have never looked back. I even gone one step further into buying an organiser for it. The back pocket holds my keys, phone and cardholder. I personally wouldn't buy one below a medium because my phone would fit!
@@hellocatwalkcity lol. No you don’t! I find with the flap on the top it kind of serves as the layer of protection so I don’t really zip the bag. Maybe that’s why. But it has to be small size and bigger. I tried the mini it is cumbersome. Hope that gives you some new perspectives on this bag lol.
I love the bag, but my pet peeve about the bag that's keeping me from purchasing it, is the narrow opening. I prefer a wide opening. If they ever make a satchel type puzzle bag, I'm IN. It is so aesthetically beautiful
My LV key pouch fits in the outside zip pocket perfectly. No hunting for my keys. I have the small size and love it. No issues getting items in and out of. I won’t buy a bag that I can’t get into easily.
I've had my medium black Puzzle bag since 2016. I don't use it as much as I would like as I find it too large for what I carry most days and it's heavy. Even the medium size is hard to get into. I love the aesthetic which is why I got it in the first place. 😊
I felt like my puzzles (small and medium) were difficult to get in and out of at first. But they definitely softened after a few uses and now I don't have any issues with the opening! Love both bags!
Thanks for this video. I contemplated getting this bag for quite a while but ended up with a lovely Altuzarra braid bag instead. I agree with you on all the points you made about this bag, especially the difficulty getting into it and the slouchiness that happens after use. It doesn't have the structure I like and that perhaps was my biggest hesitation. Makes me feel good that I made the right choice because I trust your expertise and opinions.
I just got a blue multi-color small puzzle bag. Ive always loved the way it looks and actually love that its not super neat and slouches a bit. But i am NOT a fan of the edge. It just looks cheap.
Some bags are better structurally in smaller sizes, and this is one of them. The Chloe Marcie is also one of them. Proenza Schouler satchel PS1 is another. The bigger they get, the more that they sag and lose shape over time, even if you’re careful not to over-stuff. I would go with mini over small for that reason alone. There’s also a difference between a bag ‘meant’ to look slouchy and one that just loses its original shape (aka small puzzle and up). I also think the puzzle effect looks better small scale.
I agree with you. This bag never catch my interest. So i am safe from spending money. Lol anyways i have never seen anybody in my area have one in the wild!
The zipper and what seems like difficulty getting in and out is also a reason against getting this bag for me. As well as the cube shape, it looks cool on its own but not necessarily against the body.
Thanks for you thoughts- interesting. You haven’t dissuaded me from my love of the small tan.😂 I thought they had in fact discontinued the puzzle- no more after the last run. The Edge is a major disappointment. I like the Flamenco too.
I have the tan and a multicolour. I have heard they are keeping the original but only in basic colours :tan and black.I don't care for the edge and I agree ,less workmanship:cost cutting.
I like the Loewe Flamenco bag as well and have been considering it. Which color do you like best? I think the off white is nice but the tan color is pretty too. I would love to know your thoughts.
Im surprised you’re fine with the Givenchy antigona opening if the loewe puzzle opening bothers you 😅. The puzzle bag is wayyy easy to get items because the bag is not as structured so the opening has some give whereas the antigona has none. Yes the puzzle has a flap but the flap doesn’t really bother me and in fact I don’t notice it when I get items out. I sold my antigona because I hated the opening. It constantly scratches my hand and I can never find my items easily
Ah interesting! The Antigona was definitely stiff in the beginning but has softened enough over time that I don’t have any issues getting in and out of the bag anymore - but I know what you mean about it being more structured. I think I just have a hard time with the flap above the zipper on the Puzzle bag. Some others who own and love the Puzzle bag have commented here that they too have trouble with the opening so I guess it depends for each person. I’m so glad to hear you don’t have any issues! Enjoy yours!
They’ve gradually changed the original Puzzle, chipping away at all the bits such as shoulder pad, feet and the D ring that meant you could wear it as a backpack, to now a different bag. I do love my tri colour Edge Puzzle with its woven handle and the suede under the flap but I wish they’d keep both and give the Edge an edge, which I feel my version has and why I chose it over a regular one. It definitely doesn’t have as much work in the body of the bag as the regular. Hate logo-ed straps too, thankfully it doesn’t come with all Puzzle bags. Like everything LVMH - let’s lower the quality and raise the price.
I bought the black small puzzle in classic calfskin last year after they finally got rid of the white logo stamp and replaced it with the subtle embossed loewe symbol. Love the quality and the leather of loewe bags that I wanted to get the small puzzle in the tan color loewe is known for but it’s sold out. I do not like the edge at all. It looks ugly to me and so sad they are getting rid of such a loved style. When u think of loewe u think of their puzzle bag. So instead I got their amazona 23 in their grained leather in sand. Nobody really talks about it although it’s really popular in Japan. And the zipper opening is bigger and I wanted to try out their grained leather.
I started to appreciate Loewe thanks to the puzzle bag but I never thought of buying it. I just found its design novel and nice but have never found it attractive. Moreover, I didn’t expect the popularity to be so long-lived. I do not want to buy an i.t. Bag at this price. This year, I did think of buying a mini puzzle due to its capacity as a mini bag and a colour choice this year. Luckily, I have the same colour choice in a hammock or flamenco. One of the reason I didn’t choose the puzzle is I don’t like how slouchy it will become when it wears. I can’t stand the fact that such an expensive bag will look so aged and tired in just a few years. I bought a hammock compact as my first Loewe bag. I am happy with it so far. It’s light, in a perfect size to me and with a top handle which is a must to me. I have been wanting to support this brand for years. I admire many of its design and was just waiting for a design that I admire this much. Mini flamenco and mini gate are also so cute to me. But it looks like that flamenco doesn’t age too well, either. Loewe’s cardholders are also very nice. I love most colour combinations. I haven’t bought one yet because my current ones still work. To me, buying too many SLGs are a waste of money. I do not enjoying switching between them. So, I do not prefer to support the brand this way. As my wardrobe curation philosophy, I do not buy a new bag just because I want a new bag. I need the designers’ brands to impress me with a very nice design or colour. I do not want to buy a bag just for the logo (or status). The price needs to be commensurate with the design and craftsmanship which is the essence of designers’ products after all. For example, I admire the Hermes lindy and Kelly designs, but the price is not justifiable to me. Celine’s designs are getting more lame and loud nowadays. Not a fan of the Triomphe logo. They are just selling the logos for very boring designs. I will just look forward to Phobe Philo’s new launch this month…. Hope it will be interesting.
I thought I am the only one who love the look of puzzle bag but find it difficult to use for daily basis. The opening is too small for me o get stuff in and out. I tend to stretch the opening so it will be wide enough for my hand to get in, but soon I notice the sticthing (near the zipper) loosen. Before it get worse I sold the bag and bought hammock instead.
I actually got more insights on the puzzle bag / edge from Loewe SA’s themselves. They said the puzzle bag will be continuing but more on classic colors, whereas the puzzle edge will be the one that is going to be pushed with the seasonal colors, from my understanding Puzzle is more on a classic now. Edge is going to be in their seasonal colors and wider range of sizes.
Thank you for this video. I always coveted the small puzzle bag. Now, I probably will not want to purchase anymore. I also prefer a more functional bag and while this is interesting, it does lack in some areas. I didnt know how slouchy it got over time, nor the heaviness. I think it is a huge mistake to discontinue this bag as it is and replace with the Edge version. Does nothing for me and I would DEFINITELY not purchase that one. Thank you for being honest. Much love from Canada❤
I always thought the puzzle bag is interesting but I never wanted to own one… 😂 in fact I actually don’t own any pieces from Loewe. The only bag from Loewe that I considered for a hot second was the foldable puzzle tote but I do think it’s going to crease up badly over time… so definitely a no… 😂
I love the tan anagram tote and tried it on but it felt bulky and the shorter handles kept sticking up while I was wearing the longer straps on my shoulder. It just wasn’t comfortable unfortunately. 😔
I was never a fan of the Puzzle bag until I saw all social media posts and the hype surrounding the discontinuation of the original bag. Suddenly, it made me want to get one before that happens. The Edge just does not appeal to me at all. There are definite “knockoff vibes” associated with the Edge IMO and it looks far less like a quality bag. I haven’t pulled the trigger yet because I recognized that I was panic shopping and there are a number of bags I like way more than this one. I also read a comment that said that the bag in the cognac color way looks like a basketball 🏀 and now that’s all I see. The last shot at the end of your Vlog confirms it 😬
I'm with you: I have never been attracted to the Loewe Puzzle bag. And, like you, it's just not my aesthetic. While I have a lovely Bottega slouchy bag (it's at least 10-years old), I'm not typically a fan of slouchy bags. I didn't like the closure (top flap). I agree that the bag is unique.
You can tell the edge from original because there is only one line of stitches whereas the original has stitches on both sides. I hate the new version but I never bought a puzzle 🧩 bag anyways. 😅
I've been following your content for a while and I remembered being surprised that you didn't own any Loewe pieces since their bags are of quality. It's interesting to hear your thoughts on it. For a while I've wanted the puzzle bag and have on several occasions been close to getting one but never did. However this year I was able to get a medium Flamenco bag and I just love how supple the leather is as well as being able to use the shoulder strap, top handle carry and as a clutch. I was also was very close to getting one of their totes for this summer but ended up holding off. Have you checked out their jewelry pieces? I've been tempted since I also find their anagram design very pretty!
We must have similar tastes bc the Flamenco and summer straw tote are the two bags that have caught my attention too! I haven’t seen their jewelry but I really love their RTW pieces!
You are missing out on not owing one, the grained leather one is soft, very light, functional and fits a lot, it’s easy to get things in and out, one of the best bags, the back pocket fits a card holder. I don’t like the new design, they are cutting corners to reduce their costs
❤❤❤I totally agree with you. I always liked the color but not it’s functionality. Too much hype about this bag. Thank God I never got it. I’d rather deal with my CD Diana bag than this one. 🤷🏼♀️ Great feedback! 😁👌🏻💕
I have a few lvguz to represent and honestly, I would never spend that much on the original, better to treat myself with a trip to some exotic country, haha, and get the bag girl!!!
I feel like this bag suits people with I shape body, if you are curvy it makes you look fat. anyhow some bags are just nice on somebody else. with the price increases, it's off my list
Agree. Purchased the medium this year as an “influence” purchase and after wearing it a couple of times, I put it away. Personally, to me, it is kinda wonky. I wanted to love it as my ancestors are from Spain but it is not for me.
Agree about the Edge- so disappointing that they’ve cut the corners on design which is cache of the beautiful puzzle bag.
Completely agree. I feel like there’s no such thing as “under the radar” anymore due to social media.
Hahaha! Your last sentence! 😆
Oh, and my key fob or card holder fits perfectly in the back pocket
Love, love, love my small puzzle bag 🥰
The back pocket is quite practical for metro-card for example.
Thanks for sharing your experience! Sounds like a shaper would do just the trick! 👌
I’m in agreement with you, I’ve never been attracted to the Puzzle bag. A couple of years ago I bought the straw bag you showed and have enjoyed using it in the Summer! It’s held up very well! Thank you for sharing!🥰
Aw that straw bag is so pretty!!
They probably put too much weight inside causing the bag to sag and stretch. I don't put heavy things in mine for this reason
Oh interesting that you don’t zip the bag!
Totally agree
Oh that sounds perfect - the back pocket for a car key! You’re right - not relevant to me 😉 but still appreciate you sharing!
I want to buy the Flamenco just to hug and squeeze it! 😂
That’s actually quite handy! Thanks for sharing what fits back there.
Love the cognac color but could never gravitate towards this style either myself!
The color YES! The bag NO! 😂
I absolutely adore my raspberry puzzle bag! I’ve owned it for many years and have yet to experience the top flap “ruffle” effect. I get tons of compliments every time I wear it♥
Aw that’s great!
I like your thoughtfulness in choosing your bags. While this is a creatively designed bag, I don’t own one as it is more casual and not something that can transit to night/more formal events.
Good point! It’s not very versatile.
I personally wouldn't buy one below a medium because my phone would fit!
love my small puzzle I had it for 5 years. So easy to get in and out. Perfect size. Amazing leather
I’m starting to wonder if I have giant hands 😂 how is it easy to get in and out? 🤔
I definitely think it has a unique aesthetic that some ppl love! Hope you get to use your bag more!
I felt like my puzzles (small and medium) were difficult to get in and out of at first. But they definitely softened after a few uses and now I don't have any issues with the opening! Love both bags!
@@lilyx9881Oh that’s great to hear!
Agree
Thanks for you thoughts- interesting.
You haven’t dissuaded me from my love of the small tan.😂
I thought they had in fact discontinued the puzzle- no more after the last run. The Edge is a major disappointment.
I like the Flamenco too.
Thank you for your review and I really enjoyed reading the viewer comments.
Ahh!! You and me both!! So so so looking forward to Phoebe’s debut collection!! 🎉
I feel the same way. My favorite Loewe bag is the Flamenco.
Hi, I own 2 of the puzzle bags. I like them. Thank You for the review. 🙂
They said the puzzle bag will be continuing but more on classic colors, whereas the puzzle edge will be the one that is going to be pushed with the seasonal colors, from my understanding
Puzzle is more on a classic now.
I’m glad you found the video to be helpful!
I always thought the puzzle bag is interesting but I never wanted to own one… 😂 in fact I actually don’t own any pieces from Loewe. The only bag from Loewe that I considered for a hot second was the foldable puzzle tote but I do think it’s going to crease up badly over time… so definitely a no… 😂
Yup, exactly my assessment of the new tote as well!
Same.
Totally agree with your analysis of this bag,
The back pocket is so useful for cards and keys
Your voice is so calming. I dont have any interest in the puzzle bag but put it on for your calming voice haha
Oh my gosh! 😂 Thank you! 💗
Agree with you. I am not the fan of puzzle bag too. What do you think about large anagram leather tote bag in tan color?
I love the tan anagram tote and tried it on but it felt bulky and the shorter handles kept sticking up while I was wearing the longer straps on my shoulder. It just wasn’t comfortable unfortunately. 😔
thank you so much for your feedback. Love your aesthetics, simple and classy❤
The last shot at the end of your Vlog confirms it 😬
Oh no, the basketball 🏀 🤣 🤣 🤣 don’t do it. If you’ve never been a fan, don’t buy it now just because it’s being discontinued!
I put my phone in the back pocket. Not the whole phone can fit in but it can fit in and doesn't fall out🙂
I got the balloon in tan and black instead of the puzzle 😗
Hehe- more for me. My favorite bag in my closet
Oh yes, I’d much rather do an old school Bottega bag!
Nah, not missing out because I know this one isn’t for me, but glad it works well for you! 😉
I think influencers do videos hyping certain bags because they really want to sell it .
Yes
❤❤❤I totally agree with you. I always liked the color but not it’s functionality. Too much hype about this bag. Thank God I never got it. I’d rather deal with my CD Diana bag than this one. 🤷🏼♀️ Great feedback! 😁👌🏻💕
The color, yes! The design, no. 😜
how many times do you have to state that you do not like the puzzle bag before we get it?
Haha! Did you see the thumbnail and title? It was essentially the whole point of the video! 😂
I don’t own one too. I have other Loewe rtw and bags but not the puzzle
Loewe RTW is so beautiful! I’m eyeing several pieces right now!
I loveeee the puzzle bag but not on me. 😍 I’ll love it from afar. 😅😘😘😘Sandy
I have a few lvguz to represent and honestly, I would never spend that much on the original, better to treat myself with a trip to some exotic country, haha, and get the bag girl!!!
i'm glad i'm not the only one who doesn't like the Loewe puzzle bag🥴
Does anyone who owns the puzzle bag know if a bag organizer will keep the bag structured? Thanks.
Yes. I used to own the medium. Worked really well.
@@vsegador Thank you! 😊
I feel like this bag suits people with I shape body, if you are curvy it makes you look fat. anyhow some bags are just nice on somebody else. with the price increases, it's off my list
Good point! Some bags look better on certain body shapes. I never thought of that.
I also tried this bag, didn’t like the opening for my personal taste.
Glad I’m not the only one!
I agree with you completely. The only Loewe bag I would love is the basket bag but can't see paying that price for straw.
I don’t love it either, reminds me of a “ architectural building”
Agree. Purchased the medium this year as an “influence” purchase and after wearing it a couple of times, I put it away. Personally, to me, it is kinda wonky. I wanted to love it as my ancestors are from Spain but it is not for me.
Oh bummer
This brand in general just doesn’t call my name. Lol not sure what it is about this brand. Hmmm.
Can't relate, I have 6 lol
I love my Loewe Puzzle, have them for a few years now. It’s the best bag I ever own. I don’t like the edge at all 👎👎
Wow! Best bag you ever owned? 😯 That speaks volumes! Enjoy!
That’s one bag I don’t need in my collection 😊
It’s awesome when we know what doesn’t work for us. 😉
This will be interesting
