My small black puzzle is the MVP of my bag collection! I love that bag so much - it is a brilliant grab and go with style. It’s not delicate leather and stays looking fabulous without babying it at all. I would 100% buy another one tomorrow if something happened. I never see anyone with it either. P.S. the Loewe logo on the strap is meant to be against your body with the nubby thing upwards (which is how you are wearing it).
There seems to be a lot of puzzle lovers here! We need to have a meet up so we can all finally see someone else with one hahaha! So happy to hear you are loving yours as well!

I agree with everything you said. I’ve had mine for 4 years and I still love it. I have never seen anyone else in San Antonio with one and I love that it’s a iykyk kinda bag.
Yes, totally! I've never seen anyone out with the puzzle while I'm wearing it. I think if I did, I'd get so excited and go talk to them haha!
I'm also in Vancouver and surprisingly often puzzle bag-twinning with someone at the grocery/Costco! It's just a really comfortable and functional bag to carry that people like to wear in all sorts of occasions, including non-dressy errands. Agree that I rarely see it in downtown Van though!
I've been itching to get this bag for quite a while. I picked the tan up in Paris a couple months ago. I can't say how much I adore it. I keep coming back to your video and decided I need this in black too. You're so right about dressing it up or down. I would have one in every color if I could. Thanks for the video.

I also wanted a mini one but like you, was put off by the strap not being adjustable. Saw some photos on IG that the leather is soft enough to tie around and shorten the length! So I’ll def purchase one now knowing I can do this!

When this bag first launched I saw it at Holts and wasn’t crazy about it. Saw a documentary on how it’s made, the craftsmanship, etc etc and it really piqued my interest. What a piece of art as I now understood it better. Fast forward and I ended up buying the small one. Well now if I had the funds to buy one in every color I would. Such a fantastic bag. I agree with you, and same as mine I have this in midnight blue small size as well. And she is one of my favorite bag and worth purchasing this bag and hopefully planning to buy the medium size in the future as I am so obsessed with this bag and the quality is really amazing! ❤🎉
Yes, Loewe is still producing well made quality bags, unlike some of the other luxury brands. The leather is so beautiful and they age so well! I hope you are able to get the medium size soon. 💕

I picked it up late last year at $3k just before it jumped up to $4k. The price increases are mindblowing!! The puzzle is my favourite bag though, and your updates on your experience really helped me make my decision!

I love the Loewe puzzle bag. Wish I bought it few years back before the price increase. It’s gorgeous and durable. I have the Loewe basket bag and it’s my go to summer bag.

I got the Luna bag during the winter (i live Marbella now) and thinking of buying a Mini Puzzle (sable colour) this summer 🤔
I have that same strap problem with my Gucci camera bag and use fashion tape on the strap to hold it down. Works very well and has t hurt the leather at all. This bag is definitely at the top of my wishlist!

I have just bought a preloved puzzle after so many years of deliberation. Mine was hardly used, and is in excellent condition. The main reason I went preloved was the colour, as Loewe don't do the right blue colour for me atm (I had two colours in mind, the midnight or the onyx - I ended up going for the onyx which is a dark denim or airforce blue). Mine has contrast stitching on the top of the strap (and top handle), so it's obvious which way it's supposed to sit, the "buttons" to adjust the strap sit uppermost, with the square part where the logo is sits comfortably flush to my body. Before I received my bag, I thought it was the other way around, but the sticthing on the underside is the same colour as the bag, so this helped to clarify that.
I have 6 ... I love them all ... Puzzle is one of my favourites too

I love my puzzles also! I have the warm desert combo in the small and the soft white with tan edging in the mini size. I love the black version in the small size and bought it as right before they had an increase but then returned it. I live in a warm climate and knew I wouldn’t get much use out of a black bag. I kind of wish I kept it for my daughter who know appreciates Loewe as a brand. Though I love Loewe, it’s hard to spend more than $2k on these bags when I bought my first one for $1650usd from FP. If I lost mine I would definitely not hesitate to repurchase…but at these prices, I’m good with my two!
I take it back..if they release a smooth black leather puzzle with gold hardware, I’ll probably splurge on it!

@@janeh4962 I prefer my warm desert combo because it has gold hardware and different shades of brown. I can wear it all year round. I liked the black but would prefer it with gold hardware. The black is sleek and if I lived in a colder climate I would probably prefer the black puzzle. It’s just sunny and warm most of the year where I live so black looks a little harsh.
@@654ujala that makes sense. I'm looking for a summer bag too and looking at the sand shade. Idk if they'll release a smooth with GHW, just the grained. But I love ghw too. Wish they still made the small in anthracite- perfect blackish with a hint of softness!
Ohhh I bought nano in the soft white with tan edging and it was goooorgeous (it was too small though), so I can imagine how much you love yours! Loewe is one of the brands I still feel like are making quality handbags and take pride in their craftsmanship.

I get that, when I first bought it, I was worried I wouldn't like the shape after a few years. The shorter chain is from Mod & Jo (gifted to me by my friend a few years ago) and the longer is the Letters necklace from PdPaola.

I’m trying to decide between Black and Tan! Do you have any thoughts between the two?
@@janeh4962 I couldn’t decide so I bought both. They are perfect for traveling. The tan has black stitching so you can wear with both. I live in a warmer climate and I do have a lot of bags so I gravitate towards tan since it is a great neutral bag and my only tan/brown one. Hope that helps. ❤️

You took very good care of your bag. Also, it was great that you put a protective spray on the bag as well. I would contact Loewe regarding the strap first before purchasing anything. They may fix the strap for you or make a suggestion. Thanks for the vlog!
Yes, it's so rainy here in Vancouver, it's an essential that I spray my bags! Good tip, I'll message customer service at Loewe!

Yes, the leather has aged beautifully and I'm really surprised how well it has kept its shape over the years. But that price...that's tough!
It IS the best handbag ever! (Said a handbag nerd 🤓) I have my tan version for 4 years now, and funny thing, I’d bring this bag instead of other fancy bags, if it’s going to be bad weather (live in Copenhagen 😅) and no trace what so ever 😍

Ohh congratulations! I love the collabs that Loewe does, the pieces are so unique. I do really like the Luna bag! I have the Songmont Luna which is similar, so I can't justify getting the Loewe one right now.

Love it but something I must admire from afar since that current price is... ouch! Since you know you want to keep it forever, perhaps you could do something more permanent to make that flappy part of the strap stay down, especially if you never change the adjustment of it.
Ohh that's a great idea! I don't think I could ever part with this handbag, it's really been so great these past years. The current price is hard to swallow. I've seen some really nice ones on the preloved market.
For people that have one, how is the wear and tear on the edge paint and leather where the straps rub against the hardware?
Wear and tear on the edge pant and leather near the hardware is non-existent on mine! Practically pristine!
I use a tiny elastic same colour as the bag on the strap then roll the leather strap holder over it.

Aww thank you! I would purchase the black again for sure! But I wear a lot of black and it makes it more carefree.
Yours is incredible ‘new’ state! My S puzzle bag is from 2016-7, in mint blue. Hence it can look a bit less clean. Once cleaned, it looks quite new but not as boxy as yours. I like to keep my puzzle bags boxy but I let them slough when I wear them. Please share your update of your puzzle bag in a year or two’s time. Simply love to watch other users’ update 😊.
Yes! Honestly, every time I use her, I’m surprised at how well she has held up. I think because I use it crossbody primarily, it doesn’t get that slouchy dip.

Is this a grained calfskin or just their classic? Do you feel like it shows scratches? I wish they had a grained offered in the small size because I imagine more durable 😢 also do you think the white printed anagram is prone to fading vs the black embossed anagram?
Smooth calfskin and if you watch my video you can see how amazingly my bag has aged! The leather is pretty resilient. I haven’t had the white anagram fade at all. I don’t think it would. It’s debossed, so it shouldn’t.
I'm thinking about getting this bag in a multi colored design. Do you think this will be as flexible as a solid color? The multi colors are what attracted me to it.
The multicolour design is really stunning! I think it depends on what your typical wardrobe is like. If you wear a lot of neutrals, I think it would work!

Wait a sec- I notice that your bag doesn’t “slouch” like most puzzles do. Do you usually use a bag liner?
I have the small in the sand color - my bag is stunning, buts its slouching quite a bit, even when its empty So im thinking about the possibility of a bag divider to make it hold its shape.
And I also have the Caramel mini one. That one is an amazing size and the leather is really squishy and soft. But The strap isn't adjustable. Thats a bummer - and it drives me crazy, that the straps do not swirl at the hardware.
So they are both great bags, but there is absolutely some design flaws.
Ohhh, I wonder if the leather is different with the lighter sand colour. I typically wear it as a crossbody, so it doesn't really get that slouch, I wonder if that makes a difference?
Sorry if I missed it, but is the hardware still pristine or is there any wear? I have this bag and love the hardware and hope it stays nice. I’ve had mine in the tan color for 3 years and it’s still perfect. I have a bag shaper in mine. I think the small is the best size. I kinda wished I got the black color. Thanks!

@@janeh4962 I think it’s because I wear more black. Also, I’ve been searching for an every day, black luxury handbag, and always come back to the puzzle. I don’t want two puzzles. Hope that helps! You can’t go wrong with the tan however if you want that color. It is the most beautiful color tan sort of like those popular Hermès tan colored sandals.

@@janeh4962 I can’t remember the brand unfortunately however it was a bit pricey at around $60 however it fits precisely for the puzzle bag. In other words, the website had an option of different types of handbags and that was one of them. I’m glad I got this one because it’s a perfect fit versus ordering something random on Amazon. If I remember the brand I’ll reply again! This is my absolute favorite handbag. The leather and hardware are so high quality and it’s completely gorgeous and it’s so unique and a good size, the small is not too small at all. Very roomy.

In terms of functionality, is the puzzle much better than Marc Jacob the tote bag?
I think it depends on the size. But, the styles are very different. The puzzle is more of a dressy bag I think.
I love my Loewe but the keeper loop on my strap is too loose and doesn’t hold anything, it’s infuriating
What about accessing the bag? I tried it once in the store and the zipper scratched my hand on access. Was it just a fluke?
I've never had a problem with it! Maybe as the leather softens it opens up more?
