Shifting without your cluch can cause damage to the gears but honestly I dont usually use the clutch when i shift. Theres alot of controversy over this topic.
It's a constant mesh transmission, not like a car transmission. It can be shifted with no clutch input, granted if it's under load you can use the clutch to ease the load to shift.
The 450x has a six speed transmission (rather than 5 speed) and 12.0:1 compression ration (compared to the 13.5:1 on the RX). Im assuming the tuning is a bit different too. I feel like the 450x more an enduro bike. I got the RX because I mostly ride in the desert.
Its kinda hard to choose like you said lol. But if your mainly doing trail rides. Ide say go for the 450x. But try looking up more reviews on it definitely.
I just picked mine up in Springfield Mo, they’re fucking sweet. Welcome to the club
So lucky to have an area like that to ride
Was tempted to pick up a 450rx or 250rx but the lack of a 6 speed trans made me buy a 24 Ktm 350xcf! Very nice bike you have tho 👍👍
Hell yea! Congratulations Justin! Sick man!
The green button is the power bro
Thanks man, when I 1st got it I forgot what was the power and traction control buttons
Take it to a track dude! Chip chop
On the RX the third map is the most aggressive! There is quite a big difference on the three maps.
Fucking Sweat Bro! So happy for you! Watched the video all the way through Love you guys!
Feels like more than 53HP when you are tired after a few laps !!
Where did you film this? trails and views are amazing!

You guys ride without safety gear ? Jeez … a melted piston might be the least of your problems?
Noticed you don’t shift with your clutch, why is that?

@@nothinbutgoodtimes5697 why don’t you shift with it? Do you not care about the overall health of your bike or is it just a bad habit?

The box on this is really sweet ! It’s nicks happily without the clutch ! Just back off the gas. 👍🏻
@@JeremyFoytik cars are constant mesh too !! (But the bigger differences and larger rotating masses make clutch less shifts unwise 😂
You know what the difference is between this and the 450x with headlight? I’m on the fence

@@nothinbutgoodtimes5697 which would you recommend for trail riding and sand pit riding? Mainly causal trail riding

@@nothinbutgoodtimes5697 I feel like I want the rx but I don’t know why haha I feel Ike the X is more dated
Hahaha well i can say the RX is awesome and fast AF. After the sticker pack and new exhaust its looks and sounds great too.
Did you work out the stalling on idle I’m about to buy one and it’s kinda concerning
It went away after a few rides. It was alittle concerning definitely. But after the first ride, hasn't happened since.
I have the same bike (well mine is plated for the road, has lights indicators and a horn !)
Ps ..it doesn’t stall !
Where are u riding at in the video ?
